Fantastical, samurai, warrior, justice trinity thing! I think an adventure featuring a version of Superman and friends set in a fantasy driven Edo/early Meiji Japan would be fun. Beyond that I honestly have no idea what this is supposed to be you guys… :/

I drew the first image (the one with the green smoke and them all in profile) back in 2013. I ran across it on my computer and I thought it looked kinda cool so I decided to make prints and take it to Heroescon. I got really great feedback so last week I drew these character designs and illustrations kinda based off the style of the original drawing. :D

There are so many great ideas and incredible, untapped artists out there.  DC comics- make this book with Brittany at the helm?  Seriously, this is a can’t miss!  (She even has a Mushu type dragon in place of Alfred?  Seriously DC!)

The Secret Rivalry Between "Pocahontas" & "The Lion King"

In April, a reddit user who identified themselves as an "ex Disney inbetweener" started a thread about The Lion King and Pocahontas. This user, Voltusfive2 (who did not divulge their gender), claimed that while working as an entry-level animator, they witnessed a clear bias against The Lion King.

This is a fun article about the rivalry amongst the animators at Disney between Lion King and Pocahontas. I was interviewed, but so were many great friends from that time like @AaronBlaise, @broosejohnson, @chriswahl, and @treyfinney. A must read if you like Disney animation history!

Been very busy with work, but I can finally share something I helped out with a while back! For this Coca-Cola spot by Psyop, I was asked to design the two main characters, and also sketched a few of the action poses for the animation, which Duncan Studio did an amazing job on!! I’m amazed by how it turned out and so happy I got to work with these talented people.
