Jasper had been thinking for a bit, his lease was up soon and he’d actually been looking at houses. Yes, his condo was nice as hell, but things with Nix had been going so fucking good and he was really wanting to get a house. He hadn’t said anything to his boyfriend during dinner, wanting to wait until they were on their couch. Jasper curls into his boyfriend, nosing his neck in affection. “Baby...” He murmurs, reaching up to give Nix a kiss. “So...my lease is up at the end of next month. What’s your thoughts on a house?” @wtfnixxx​

Nix had almost forgot what the holidays were like at home, not having really celebrated since they had last been together. Jasper was the one that actually made Nix start celebrating in the first place, but when he was gone, he had no reason to. They tried a little this year, but it wasn’t as big as their old times, but it was still more than Nix did last year. “Yeah, that sounds good,” he nods, not minding at all that they kept it light this year. They were still getting the old them back so it was fine. “I’m thankful to have you back too,” he smiles and kisses Jasper’s forehead. 

Jasper knew that he wanted to at least do a little something this year. And he was making mental notes of what to do next year. And yeah, maybe Jas knew that he did spoil Nix and would probably get lectured for it because his boyfriend was hard headed as fuck. His arms wrap around Nix and he reaches up to hang up some mistletoe and giggles before beaming up at his boyfriend. “I do believe you know the rules for that bad boy hanging above us, yes?”

It’s Nix and Jasper’s first holidays back together and to be hones, Jas used to love Christmas time and New Years. They used to be some of his favorites if he’s being hones. However Jas hasn’t really celebrated it much since Nix left so this year there wasn’t much decorations. Yeah they had a tree but it was nothing big, nothing like it was used to be. Now it’s a few days after Christmas and Jas still hasn’t taken down the tree, wanting to keep it up until after the New Year. He hums though going up to Nix and wrapping his arms around the other, giving him a few kisses. “Next year, we’ll go all out for the holidays, yeah?” Jasper muses softly, fingers going through his boyfriend’s hair. “I’m just really thankful to have you back, babe. Like us being us again.” @wtfnixxx​

Nix looks over at his boyfriend and nods, “same here,” he agrees easily and is glad that Jasper feels the same way. Nix didn’t see a future with anyone else, just Jasper. Sure, they had their issues but Nix wasn’t going to walk away this time. Time away from the other was hell and his life just fell apart without him. “Sounds good, I’ll just keep grinding til then, plus i’ll have my new camera,” he reminds him happily. Nix reaches over and touches Jasper’s hand gently, “I feel the same way… always have… always will.”

Jasper never thought that Nix would come back. Had he hoped for it? Yes, hell yes. But he also wouldn’t of blamed Nix either. Jasper had hit a pretty low point in his life when the other left. He looks back up at his boyfriend and gives a half smile. “Babe, you don’t have to bust your ass until then.” He murmurs, furrowing his eyebrows together for a few moments. “You’re gonna have fun trying out that new camera.” Jasper chuckles and gives Nix’s hand a light squeeze in return. “Good, that makes me feel good. Babe...I thought I lost you for good. And I couldn’t even...blame you for it.”

“I know,” Nix nods, “And its fair… well, with this new job at least that means less time away from you?” he reminds his boyfriend as he takes another bite. “I love you too… and i hope so,” he nods. He was going to make a comment about their future but he hated bringing up marriage or the reminder that they were ex-fiance’s. He knew Jasper would bring it up when he was ready. Nix had just made the decision to not go there first, even though he knew he saw an entire future with Jasper. “So when can I start training?”

Jasper hoped that he wasn’t being to selfish with wanting his boyfriend around more. It felt weird still at times, calling Nix his boyfriend. Not because he doesn’t like it, but because at one point in time, he was calling the other his fiancé. “Nix...I don’t know how not to love you. You’re the best part of me. Always have been.” Even after everything happened between them, Jasper still loved Nix. He knew that the fact they weren’t engaged anymore was his fault. It was his own doing and he wanted to get them back to what they had. “Kayson said something about in a few weeks. That’s when his manager now is done, when the dude’s contract expires, I think.” He made a mental note to message Kayson. “I know...that you’re my future. That...yeah...there’s nobody else for me.”

Nix chuckles a bit and nods, knowing that little time with them was a consequence of his working so much. “Well you’re allowed to be a little selfish sometimes,” he reassures him and kisses his boyfriend. “I don’t like it either and im sorry.. thank you for this opportunity,” he nods and kisses him again. they had been broken up for a bit so not spending more time together was probably not a good idea while trying to get back what you had. 

Jasper really wasn’t wanting to complain about his boyfriend working so much because he understood why the other was doing it.  “I’m only wanting to be selfish with my time with you, this go around.” Because Nix had seen him be so fucking selfish with his addiction and he does hate himself a little bit for that. “It’s okay...I get why you’re working so much.” Jas whispers softly, giving his boyfriend a soft kiss. He does want to get back what they had, never wanting to lose the other if he’s being honest. “I love you, Nix, pretty sure I’m always gonna love you.”

“yes, you can help with the accessories,” nix chuckles and nods, happy that his boyfriend was content with that option. he knew jasper wanted to get him anything he could, but it was a pride thing and nix was glad the male could respect his wishes. “alright, well i’m in,” he nods, “thanks babe… i appreciate you thinking of me and believing in me.”

“Good, thank you.” Jasper had a hard time with not helping his boyfriend. But he knew that Nix was serious and he doesn’t want to fight with the other about it so yes, Jasper caved on that aspect of things. Jasper takes his phone out and sends his best friend a quick text before wrapping his arms around Nix. “It was part selfish reasons. Because I hate that you work so much because it doesn’t leave a lot of time for us?”

Nix smiled over at the other, shaking his head, “good thing i do then, huh?” he sticks his tongue out at the other playfully. “i know you do, but thank you for respecting my wishes and not getting it,” he tells him. “tell ya what, you can help me with the accessories i’ll need?” he says, easing up a bit on the subject because he finally was able to save up enough money for the camera. “And it pays good?” he asks, “like i can stop the other jobs i do?” he had a few jobs to save up money and it could be exhausting sometimes. 

Jasper really couldn’t picture a life without Nix, that’s not something he ever wanted. He’s had a taste of that and it wasn’t for him. Jas nods because he knew better than to go against his boyfriend’s wishes when it came to some things. But at the mention of helping with accessories for the other’s camera, Jasper does beam to his boyfriend. “Pretty please?” He murmurs, taking a few bites before he’s nodding his head a few times. “It means you don’t have to work yourself to death with all the other jobs. And it does pay good, the agency pays their workers pretty good.”

Nix smiled at the other lightly and nodded, “i do and i love you too,” he says as he continues to eat. “It’s okay, I’m finally at my goal to buy the camera i wanted so I can start posting YouTube videos for my covers,” he says, having been trying his best to save up money for it. He knew Jasper had money but he liked to do things himself, especially if it had to do with his career. he didn’t want anything handed to him. “really? you think i’d be good at that though?” he asks, “i mean it would be a good networking job too for me and it could help me get more involved with that aspect.”

Jasper loved this man, always had and probably always would. “You better or else I’d be a fucking mess.” Hell, Jas had been a mess when him and Nix broke up, that was the worst pain he’s ever felt and he’s gonna do his best to not feel that again. “I hate that you wouldn’t just let me get you the camera. I just want to help, babe.” He whispers, taking a few more bites off of his plate. Money was such a downfall and touchy subject when it came to them. At the question, Jasper nods slowly. “Yeah, i think you could handle it. Mean I did it for a few months to help him out. And it’d help get you out there and stuff?”

Nix had been a bit stressed so little things like this definitely helped him relax a little. “I really appreciate this babe… like… you have no idea,” he says honestly and reaches over to touch Jasper’s hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. He looks over at the setup and takes it all in, truly loving it. “I appreciate you so much… thank you,” he thanks him again. “I’m a very lucky man,” he smiles and grabs his fork to start digging in. He was very hungry. “It was busy,” he tells him, “A bit stressful but better now. yours?”

Jasper didn’t want Nix to stress about things, but he was also going to support his boyfriend with everything in him. And yeah, he wanted to spoil Nix. He knew that the other could do so much better than him. But when it came to Nix? Jasper was a bit selfish and didn’t want to let him go. “You deserve to be spoiled, babe.” He murmurs softly, pouring them each some drinks. “Baby...I love you a lot, you know that right?” Jasper reminds his boyfriend before he’s taking a few bites from his food. Realizing that he hasn’t ate all day either. “I’m sorry it was stressful, babe.” Jasper frowns, eyes going over to his boyfriend. “It was alright, got a few runs in at the skate park. Kayson actually brought something up to me. He’s looking for a new manager. Thought you might be interested?”

Mark: You’re making a promise and showing your man that you’re true to him and that you love him and want to lock his ass down and marry him someday. Make that man your husband.

Mark: That’s sweet. It showed you were already developing those strong feelings for him.

Jas:: I normally don’t care what people think. But yeah i psyched myself out.  Jas:: Its always been him for me. But at the same time...yeah he could do a shit load better than me.  Jas::Like, I’ve put him through hell and yeah there’s this part of me that knows he deserves a shit ton better.

The smell of home-cooked food was in the air and Nix’s stomach groaned a bit because it was reminded of how hungry he was. Okay so maybe Nix had skipped his lunch again, but the male was a busy man. “Aww, i love him,” Nix pouted, it being so cute. “What’s the occasion for all of this?” he asks as he kisses the male back. “You’re really sweet baby… let me just change really quick and i’ll be right back out,” he says before kissing him. “Lazy night with you sounds perfect, thank you,” he grins. “Let me think on the name…” he chuckles as he goes to quickly change. He returns shortly after, in more comfortable clothes, “im so hungry,” he admits and makes his way to the dinner table, stopping to pet the dog one last time. He sees the plates all made and he grins, “oh my god, you made this? yesss… i love it when you make this,” he chuckles and takes his seat. 

It was no secret that Jasper loved to cook, it’s something he did often when his anxiety was high. But tonight it was for a different reason .Tonight he just wanted Nix to feel special and loved. He smiles widley at his boyfriend’s words, giving Nix a kiss in return. Nodding when Nix mentions getting changed, figuring that his boyfriend would want to. “This is...just because I love you.” He murmurs lightly, kissing Nix again before pulling away. Jasper takes the chance to pour their wine and make sure that everything was perfect. Fixing the plates too because Jas was a perfectionest in that sense. He does beam though at the sight of his boyfriend grinning. “I did make this. Figured you deserve a nice romantic, special dinner, baby.” Jasper murmurs softly, taking his seat after placing the drinks in front of their plates. “Dig in, baby. How was your day, huh?”

Nix had had a pretty busy day, but it wasn’t bad, just busy. He worked two of his side jobs today, one after the other, but he was getting a better flow of everything the more time went on. It was finally time to head home for the day, which was his favorite part of the day if he was honest, mostly because he went home to the love of his life. He had just opened the front door and stepped inside further when he was joined by a puppy, which nearly caused him to jump because he wasn’t expecting it. “Oh my god, hello,” he says in a soft tone as he leans down to pet the cute dog. He looks at his boyfriend and chuckles, “what’s this?” he asks, grinning. “it’s so cute… you got us a puppy?” he can’t help but kiss the dog and just rub its belly. Nix had almost forgot that they had talked about getting a puppy before everything went to shit, but now he just remembered.  

Jasper had also cooked dinner for his boyfriend and had everything set up and plated already. Making them a steak and shrimp dinner. He really did want to go all out for this boy, wanting to prove that he was in this for the long road. Jasper smiles at the other’s reaction happy that he seemed to love the puppy. “This is our furbaby.” He giggles, going up and kissing Nix, letting his eyes close and just relaxing. “I did get us a puppy. I thought that we were ready for this.” Jasper admits lowly, fingers going through Nix’s hair. “Baby, I also got dinner ready for us. Thought you deserved it after having a busy day.” Yes, Jasper could cook, he loved cooking a lot actually. It helped relax him. “We’re gonna have a lazy night, okay? Just me you and our new fur baby. You still gotta name him too.”

Jasper wanted to do a little surprise for Nix, to show him in a way that he wasn’t going to mess up like last time. He’d went to the shelter and that’s where he found this adorable bulldog terrier mix. The pup was so fucking cute and kinda picked him so Jasper knew that’s what the puppy him and nix needed. But jasper wasn’t done there, no way. Instead, he waited until he heard Nix come in and he puts the necklace around the puppy’s collar. He knew they agreed to disagree about who’s fault their break up was. But Jasper knew that it was his fault for putting Nix through hell. He’s already wearing the other half of the necklace, but has it hidden with his shirt. Jasper lets the pup go and watches as he roams over to Nix, Jas leaning against the kitchen door frame. He really hopes that Nix was okay with them having a pup. “Baby...hi.” He whispers, already having showed the pup around the house to let him get familiar with the place. When they were engaged before, the par had talked about getting a puppy but things went bad before they could. “Surprise?” @wtfnixxx​
