Hey, everyone! To keep a long story short, things in life are beginning to slow down for me, and I would very much like to return. I wanted to make this post to apologize for being away for so long, but to thank you for still sticking around!Â
I have several alters that I will need to make a decision on, but I wanted to post here first because I for sure want to return as Peter. I will update some things on my account and speak to you soon; I look forward to it!

Sometimes, itâs not a lack of muse or short attention span or lack of time. Sometimes weâre too afraid to write out the reply we had in mind in fear itâs inadequate or written too fast. Then we send replies days, or even weeks, later that we had thought out in our mind since the beginning.Â

âItâs sort of a grey-area when it comes to peopleâs feelings where there are secrets involved,â Pepper said, thinking back to the time when Tony hadnât told her he was dying of palladium poisoning. She wished he had been honest about what was going on, but she also knew he was trying to protect her. Of course, Peterâs case wasnât exactly the same, but she understood what he was trying to protect and May was definitely a caring person. âItâs probably not easy for May to deal with the fact her nephew is a superhero, but I can talk to her if youâd like me too⊠I have a lot of experience when it comes to loved ones risking their lives all the time.â
Chuckling when he mentioned school and the trip to Europe, Pepper grinned. âThat sounds like a great time,â she agreed. âDo you know where in Europe youâll be going?â She asked, thinking to the many different places sheâd been many years ago and to the places she wanted to bring Morgan to when she was a little older. Looking at the teen, she offered him a reassuring smile. âIâm sure the flight will be just fine,â she told him. âOh, and if you want to know whatâs going on with Happy, youâll have to ask him directly.â
Glancing at her watch, she hoped Tony would be back with Morgan soon, just so they could see Peter and they could all enjoy his company, since he was going to be staying a couple nights. However, sine they werenât back yet, theyâd make do.Â
Getting up from her seat, Pepper stretched before looking at the teen. âSince the hooligans arenât back yet, would you like to help me prep dinner?â She asked before smiling.Â
Peter nodded. âYeah. I sort of regret not telling her from the beginning, but also regret telling her at all. I just feel like it made life harder on her when I was sneaking out all the time. She thought I was getting into trouble.â Was it better to have May worried that Peter was fighting some dangerous villain instead of sneaking out with some high school friends? Probably not.
âTony does things for good, though. I know that doesnât really help, but he always had a reason behind it, even now. Some people say heâs reckless, but I donât think so. It seems more like bravery to me.â
He was feeling more excited for his school trip by the second. He needed a vacation, and not in just a âtired high schooler wayâ; he needed this vacation. âWeâre going to Venice. Thereâs this huge carnival there thatâs supposed to be going on at the time, so that should be fun.â Should be. He had learned not to rule anything out.Â
He nodded, agreeing that he should go to Happy directly. The problem was, Happy wasnât always the easiest person to talk to. He sometimes seemed very annoyed with Peter and less patient than Tony, but deep down, Peter knew he cared for him.
Peterâs eyes lit up when Pepper asked him to help with dinner preparations. He was quick to respond. âYeah, Iâd love to!â He jumped up from his own seat and rubbed his hands together, preparing to get down to business. He had never tried Pepperâs cooking, but judging by Tony not complaining about something, she must be pretty good. âWhat are we fixing?â
Hi everyone! Long time, no see. Iâve been spending most of my time bantering on my Twitter accounts because life has just been hectic to say the least with work, college, and miscellaneous. With that said, I miss writing with you lovely people, so I am going to try and come back to pick up where I left off. I cannot promise consistent replies daily, but I am at least going to try to stay active because I really enjoy my time here. I just need to train myself not to get so overwhelmed, because that is my fault completely; no one elseâs.Â
If we had a storyline before, I plan to reply to it. However, if you no longer wish to continue, I completely understand! You have every right not to sit around and wait for me, and there is no hard feelings if the muse is gone.Â
For those of you who still follow, thank you for being patient with me, and I look forward to interacting in the future. :)

{My lips pursed in thought; all the while my shoulders rolling into a shrug. Sure, I liked to pride myself on always having the answers that Peter needed, but it was safe to say that pretty much any question he had pertaining to the Avengers, I wouldnât know the answer to that} I really donât know. That sounds right though⊠I mean, I suppose if you were once an Avenger, you would remain an Avenger, no matter what circumstances may bring your way. {I started to say in consideration of his question, before my lips parted once more to add a different sort of perspective to the topic} You know, unless you went bad, I guess. Like, if youâre not for the Avengers, and fighting /with them/ then you wouldnât technically be one anymore, right? {More or less just thinking aloud with that response; leading me to think maybe I should have just stuck with my initial answer of, âI really donât know,â since letâs be honest here, I didnât}
{Even so, as the conversation shifted to karma, and my brief scolding of Peterâs unkind comment, I just expelled a quiet breath} Yes, death and growing old are a natural part of life. I just mean donât wish it to come earlier than itâs meant to for people. Thatâs not nice. If it was Captain Americaâs time to grow old, than so be it. Just wish him all the best, and then go on with your own life. {I thoughtfully advised as I joined him on the sofa, so we could watch the movie together. Carefully lifting his pillows holding his injured leg from the sofa, so I had a bit more room on the couch, before ultimately bringing the pillows and his injured leg to a rest across my lap. My one hand gently coming to a rest on top of his injured leg, while I passed him the bowl of popcorn, so he could delve into it} Good ideaâŠ. Call Tony after the movie to ask him about your suit. You can mention our idea about having him over for dinner sometime this week too, if you want. {I suggested as I briefly glanced over at Peter, and then ultimately back toward the television screen as our movie had since begun} Are you comfortable enough? Need extra pillowsâŠ. a blanket, maybeâŠ. Anything at all? {I asked. Not trying to hover, but after I nearly lost him following the last Avengerâs battle, my overprotective side was currently in active mode, you could say}
Peter nodded, acknowledging that the two of them were in agreement. âYeah, but I think Iâll always be with them, unless one goes crazy like Cap did.â He paused to pop a handful of popcorn into his mouth. âI hope that doesnât happen again, though. That was very bad.â He spoke with a full mouth, small crumbs flying freely.Â
He swallowed this time before he nodded. âYeah, I know. Iâm sorry. I didnât mean that, really. Heâs kind of getting around great for an old man, or so Iâve heard. Iâm not sure I can trust Mr. Stark on a lot of things since I canât pick up on his sarcasm very well.âÂ
He glanced at the television briefly before returning his focus back to May. âIâm good, thanks. I canât wait for Mr. Stark to come over. Maybe heâll stop nagging me about my room looking like a fifth graderâs.â Peter scoffed. âIâve remodeled since then, and by remodeled, I mean stuffed the stuff I refuse to part with into my closet...â He bit the inside of his cheek gently. âMr. Snuggles isnât going anywhere.âÂ

Nodding as she listened to Peter explain how the city felt different. She felt it had to be pretty different now, especially now that everyone was back. Everything had felt very strange when half of the world was gone, but it had to be even crazier now that everyone was back.
Then he asked about Happy and she smiled a bit. âHappy? Heâs up here once or twice a week,â she looked at him. âWhen we first had Morgan, he was here helping out as much as he could, or that weâd allow him⊠but he loves hanging out with his niece. Why do you ask?â
As she leaned back in her seat, Pepper took a look out at the lake. There were moments she still couldnât believe she lived here, since she had been such a city person before. But now, she couldnât imagine being anywhere else and she wondered how Peter felt now that the whole world he came back to was completely different.
âYou know, May might be a little more lenient about you sneaking out at night, but she wonât stop worryingâŠâ Pepper looked at the teen. She knew that probably wasnât what Peter wanted to hear, but it was something she had to tell him. Because thatâs how she felt whenever Tony had gone out to be Iron Man⊠and now that sheâd gotten this close to actually losing him, she never wanted him out of her sight again. Though, she knew that feeling would pass with time.
âSo.. school is going well? Anything fun planned for the summer?â She asked, smiling at him.
Peter smiled when Pepper stated that Happy had been around. He always wondered what he would do without Tony, since it seemed to be all he ever knew, but he seemed to be still considered family. âNo reason. I was just wondering is all.â He paused and nibbled on the inside of his cheek, his brows furrowing slightly. âActually, there is a reason I asked. Heâs been coming around my apartment a lot lately, and I donât think itâs because of me.â He swallowed as he looked at Pepper. âHeâs talking to my aunt a lot, and I donât know why. I was just making sure that you havenât heard of me doing anything wrong.â For the life of him, Peter couldnât figure why else Happy could be around so much and not speak to him unless he was in trouble. It just didnât make sense!
He sat back in his seat as his eyes fell to the shiny hardwood floors. He nodded slowly. âYeah, I know.â May had always been the most important person in the entire world to Peter, especially since what they had been through together, and it took a toll on him knowing that he could somehow be stressing her out even more. âSometimes I wish she never found out about all of it. It wouldâve made things a little easier, I think.â He knew that May would never want him to keep a secret from her, but he also found out through experience that sometimes secrets were better for peopleâs safety.
Luckily, he was snapped out of his thoughts by the question about school. Peter looked up at Pepper and nodded. âItâs going great, actually. Theyâve been planning a trip to Europe soon for my class, so thatâll be fun. I still donât know how I feel about flying, though.â If he was being technical, the only real time he had flown was on the way to Berlin in Tonyâs jet. The other times were a little more of a risky journey, and he wasnât sure that he could count those as normal experiences.
"people who are okay donât act like this." - ned
Peter sighed as he used both hands to cover his face, which was more difficult than it should have been because he was hanging from the top bunk of his bed. "I know, I know. I just don't know what to do." He slowly ran his hands down his face with a soft groan.
He didn't like to talk about his feelings all that much, but he couldnât hide what he was going through from his best friend. âIâve got a ton of homework to do, but I canât just leave the city to fend for itself. What if someone gets hurt? Then itâs my fault.â He sighed and began swinging back and forth, which helped a little because it was fun.
captainrogers-thepatriot
He put a hand on his shoulder. âOf course I will. The underdog always becomes the hardest hitter.â He smiled at him. He saw a bit himslef in the young kid. They both came humble beginnings and had tragedy in their lives. Yet despite everything they longed to help others and to make this world a better place. They also were both overlooked at times, but weâre truly strong assets to any team. "I bet one day you will be running the show, kid. Tony talks so much about you and your progress, practically brags like a proud parent. Tony doesnât talk about anyone like that, so you really must be something special.â
Peter smiled a little too excitedly at him, but he couldnât help it. He grew up hearing all about Captain America, and now he was giving him advice on how to be the best Avenger he could be. It was like a dream, really, only Peter didnât want to pinch himself and wake up.
If he wasnât smiling so hard that his cheeks hurt before, he was surely doing it now. Tony never told him those things, so to find out that he felt that way sent Peter over the moon. He could trust Cap, too, because Captain America would never lie.
âThank you, sir. That means a lot.â He forced his smile to shrink a little, but it was still very much there. âI donât feel like Iâm a lot of help sometimes, but Iâm trying to learn all I can.â He can catch bike thieves and help the elderly cross the street, sure, but he wanted to do that and so much more; he wanted to be better.
@anavengernow
"You got to be careful out there. Don't try to take on more than you can handle." Steve told Peter. "You got a lot of heart, but your still new to all this, so pace yourself."
âYes, sir.â Peter pressed his lips tightly together as he stared up at the respected superhero. Peter knew that he was taking on too much, but he couldnât help himself. He wanted to be more like Mr. Stark, but he just wasnât able to keep up with him. Maybe it would come with time.
His expression softened at the compliment, a small smile beginning to spread. âThank you, sir. That means a lot coming from you.â He stood tall and proud, more confident than ever that he would be able to reach his full potential someday. âJust donât count me out on missions, okay? I want to help.â

{My lips remained pursed as I attentively listened to Peterâs vague explanation of what took place between Captain America and Tony. To be honest though, most of it still managed to just confuse me more than I already was before. Maybe thatâs for the best though. I mean, I liked Peter knowing he could include me in this world of crime-fighting, but I think the less I know about certain aspects of that, the better} Well, if youâre right about the two of them not really getting along, maybe itâs best that Captain America decided to leave the Avengers, so he could grow old. {Words I never expected to be saying. Then again, since learning about Peter being Spider-Man, there was a lot I found myself saying that I never would have even thought of before. The types of things that people would try to have me committed over, should they overhear me. Then again, maybe not. I mean, we were definitely living in weird times. Case and point by the fact that weâve had more than one /alien/ attack over the last several years, Yes, aliens. Go figure. Whatâs next? The Boogie Man?} That was mean. Youâre right. Donât put thoughts like that out there. Even if you donât like someone, just wish them the best, space yourself from them as much as you can, and leave it at that. Itâs better for your karma. {I gave a nod though when he expressed that he couldnât wait to get back out there. Oh yeah, like I didnât know that. Heâs practically chomping at the bit to get back out there} You will be back out there again before you know it. Your leg is almost healed up, so Iâd guess in maybe a few more days, a week at most, youâll be as good as new again. In the meantime, maybe Tony can give you a preview of what he has in mind for your next suit? Even if itâs only in picture form for you to see. You know, give you something to look forward to once youâre out there fighting again.
Peter nodded, agreeing that it was for the best. â Yeah. Heâs not a bad guy now, I donât think... Doesnât matter.â He shifted again on the couch and fixed his posture, staring comfortably at the previews on the television. âI think youâre always technically an Avenger, though. Isnât that how the saying goes?â Once a *blank* always a *blank*.
He frowned and lowered his head slightly when he was being scolded. He whispered âsorryâ and nodded as she made her points. âI donât think karma really counts here, though. Arenât we all going to get old and...you know...pass on someday?â He turned to look at his aunt with curiosity.
His expression immediately changed when she mentioned how soon he would get back to normal, or as normal as possible. He perked up with a cheeky grin, already imagining all of the fun stuff he was going to do when he was completely healed. Well, not exactly fun per say, but he enjoyed bringing people to justice. âGood idea! Heâs probably working on it right now. I donât think heâs busy building another one for himself because he has...â He trailed off, afraid to say a number. The only thing he knew for sure was that he had a lot. âAnyway, Iâll call him after the movieâs over. He says he has a thing for things playing in the background while heâs trying to speak. He likes to be the center of attention at all times.âÂ

whenever she saw him in gym, he always seemed to do better than any of the other athletes. at least, he did most of the time. it always caught her eye when she was trying to climb the rope. âreally? well, i think youâd be really good atâŠwhatever sport you pick.â or maybe he just didnât want to play sports, which was alright too.
for her, her fun extracurricular was cheerleading. of course, she loved science and math, loved her internship. but cheerleading was less intense, not as much pressure as the rest of her teams and clubs. it was tiring and hard but she didnât feel like she had to be perfect and proper all the time. not to mention, she did like going to football games like any normal high schooler.
she nodded, thinking that she finally found someone who understood where she was coming from. âi donât know if they know how to talk to me about anything else.â should she be talking about what bothered her about her parents? probably not. but who else would she talk to about it?
âwell, it depends. is actual welcome attention or does she want them to leave her alone?â gwenâs had creepy people hover around her and her friends before. it was a big city and inevitable. but gwen tried to handle herself and avoid them as much as she could. âyeah, it sounds weird.â she wondered who his aunt was, if sheâs seen her around school or if he talked about gwen to her.
she nodded at his question, giving a shy smile. she wanted to get to know peter more. he seemed interested in being friends and she didnât have a lot of them right now. even today, she ate lunch in an empty classroom so she didnât have to deal with the question of how many people were staring at her eating by herself. âyeah, if you donât mind, of course. i know itâs not the polite thing to do, invite yourself over, i mean.â sheâd invite him with her family but she was scared about how her brothers would embarrass her and, with her dad being the police chief, heâd want to come off as intimidating to anyone, especially a boy. she wanted to be nice to peter, not scare him away.
gwen raised her eyebrows when he actually said smushed. people smush sandwiches? but she wasnât there to judge. âyou like yours flat?â it was more of a curious question, just like she would ask another when he seemed to cut himself off. âbefore you go what?â was peter in something that he didnât talk about much?
not letting it bother her, she nodded with a bigger smile. she missed being invited places, having friends to hang out with. and if peter was this sweet now, she wondered what he would be like once she got to hang around him more, along with ned. âiâd love to, if you donât mind sharing a favorite spot. and iâd love to pet a cat!â sheâs wanted a pet forever but her parents had rules, which included no pets.
gwen was starting to loosen up, start to be relaxed and comfortable with another person at midtown. she was even starting to change her mind about friends, how sheâd be okay with being alone until she graduated. peter was so sweet and she couldnât help but keep smiling with him right there. she just had no idea why but she wasnât going to question it. why should she anyway?
Peter grinned shyly at her compliment. He wasnât used to hearing such words, especially since he just recently gained the ability to get through gym class without wheezing. âThanks! Thatâs very nice. It means a lot.â He nodded, realizing he was saying too many words at once. Oh well; wouldnât be the first time.
His brows furrowed in concern. It didnât sound to him like she was very comfortable with how her parents always seemed to talk about school and other non-exciting things. (Sorry; heâs just being honest.) âIâm sure itâs because they care about you and want you to succeed and all that stuff.â Should he tell her about how he doesnât even have parents to talk to him about that stuff? No; absolutely not. That would be very inappropriate.
âWell-â He got a little shifty. He had never actually talked about that before. âItâs not her wanting them to leave her alone. I just donât really trust a lot of people is all.â He began chewing on the inside of his cheek. How was he supposed to explain that? That he saw enough bad guys each day that he dreamed about them? He couldnât.
He brushed off her question, hoping she didnât notice. He couldnât afford to blow his cover to anyone, much less to a person who was seemingly enjoying her time spent with the real Peter. He always feared that if people found out his identity, they would only like him for the suit and not for what lied beneath it.
He gave her a soft, shy smile when she accepted his invitation. âReally?â He never ate with anyone besides Ned and his aunt, but he felt comfortable around Gwen already. Her smile made her expression look extra soft, causing him to almost mirror her instantly. He felt a little uneasy while imagining some of the things his aunt was bound to say, however, but he hoped that he could warn her beforehand. âThatâs great. Weâll have to pick a time. Any time, really. Iâm never busy.â Except when heâs fighting bad guys.
Peter nodded. âYeah. I donât like when the sandwich is too big for your mouth, you know?â Maybe that was weird. Should be apologize now? âOh yeah, definitely. Itâll be fun! Mr. Delmar is awesome. Sometimes heâs a little cranky, but he always means well.â Did she just subtly hint that she liked cats? He wasnât really that big of a fan anymore since one nearly clawed his eyes out while trying to save it from a tree, but he couldnât tell her that, of course.
I think everyone kind of wants to have that kind of ship that one feels terribly invested in. Talk headcanons late into the evening, the kind of ship that makes you start doing playlists, aesthetic posts, art, drabbles. Without feeling awkward because you are not sure whether your partner is as invested as you are. I only have one thing to say: be that kind of ship partner. If you want to shiop something, donât be afraid to approach a mun about it, the worst they can do is say ânah thanksâ. Donât be afraid to show how much you love a ship, take way the stigma of being overly interested in ships and doing stuff for a pairing. Go for it, show that you are passionate about it, and you will see it can turn out great.Â

{Lydia had not been out of the door since the night she had that nightmare. Different creatures of the supernatural world entering her dreams and turning them into nightmares. She was scared and now she was finding out what she was. Picking up the book she had got from the school library. Flicking through the pages and coming across a word. It said Banshee.Â
Looking at the page and what it was saying. âDo I really think that I am one of these?â Looking at the picture. And looking at herself in the mirror. âCan I turn into that?â Just then her mother banged on the door bringing her goodies of every kind, especially her favorite chocolate. She broke off a piece and placed it inside her mouth.Â
âThis is absolutely wonderful mother. Thank you for helping so much the past couple of daysâ Her mother handed her some medication and Lydia took it with some water. The books were still open and her mother seemed to take a quick look at the page I was reading.Â
Lydiaâs eyes were nearly closing, getting prepared for an early nap. But she remembered hearing her mother asking what kind of book she was reading. Lydiaâs eyes closed but she just had time to get the word Banshee out before her eyes finally closed. While sleeping Lydia had another nightmare.Â
This time she managed to find her away inside Echien house. Without those red eyes looking at her. Opening the door she went inside the building. Walking up the long hallway passing rooms. Then all of a sudden she stopped.Â
Lights started flickering then the lights suddenly went out and Lydia was in darkness. All she could do was read the names on the doors to the rooms. Pressing her hand against the note on the door and reading it carefully. That name was Lorraine Martin. Lydia lifted the handle and tried to look inside. She was astounded that her grandmother was laying on the bed.Â
âGrandmother it is me Lydiaâ The banshee looked into her eyes and then she heard her grandmother uttering a few words to her. âIt is you Ariel have you come to take me home?âÂ
Tears fell from Lydiaâs eyes and then out of nowhere came the loudest scream she had ever heard. It was her grandmother. Lydia was thrown to the other side of the room where she lay for a few moments in complete darkness.

{My brows furrowed in confusion as I listened to Peter give me the brief rundown about Captain America turning old. At Peterâs mention of Cap taking a stop after he returned the stones back to their rightful place, my lips pursed tightly in thought while my nose crinkled in confusion} So waitâŠ. Let me get this straightâŠ. I thought the point in Captain America returning the stones to their rightful place and time was to avoid any kind of change in history? If he was just going to screw up the timeline by taking a stop off at whatever year and time he wanted to, which ended up making him grow old, then what was the point in being so careful with the whole time travel thing to begin with? I mean, I am, by no means, an expert on time travel, cause letâs be honest, I thought all of that was just nonsensical bullshit they put in cheesy movies for entertainment purposes, but that whole Captain America thing seems like it contradicted all of the ârulesâ or whatever of time travel⊠Doesnât it? {It didnât make sense to me. Then again, I think if it did, that might actually disturb me a bit. I mean, time travel? Really? I thought that was the sort of thing that you only saw happening in cheesy movies. Who knew that was even a possibility. I thought in silent consideration as I joined Peter in the living room. Waiting to place the freshly fluffed pillows under his injured leg before I took a seat on the far end of the sofa. Only, no sooner getting us both situated on the sofa when Peter was back up on his feet once more; the pillows falling to the floor as a result. My head shook slightly in amusement as I leaned forward to grab the pillows, then turned to flash him a questioning look} Okay, tough guy. If you need me to lend you a hand, just say the word. {The maternal instinct in me would be just to return to my feet, and help him first to pick up the DVD cases before ensuring he made it back to the couch in one, unscathed piece. I knew Peter was trying so hard currently to prove that he could do these little things on his own though, so the last thing I wanted to do was to burst his bubble} Anyway, what did Tony have to say about Captain Americaâs decision to quit the Avengers to grow old? {Figuring Tony would probably have a lot to say about all of that. Especially since the Avengers had already been down a few members, and my understanding was that Captain America was an important member of the team. No wonder Peter was practically chomping at the bit to get back into avenging modeâŠ. or whatever they are calling it}
Peter fell onto the couch with an exaggerated sigh.
âYeah, but I donât think he listened very well. He stopped for vacation with a girl or something. I didnât get the full story yet, but I will.â He paused, squirming until he got into a more comfortable position. âMr. Stark says to just ignore him most times. I still donât think they like each other very much, but it wonât really matter because heâll probably bite the dust soon anyway.â
His eyes grew wide, unable to make eye contact with his aunt. âThat was mean, Iâm sorry.â
He grabbed the remote and pressed play, groaning when it wouldnât let him skip through the previews. He laid the remote next to him and shifted once again, searching hard for that position that made him feel all relaxed while he watched one of the greatest movies of all time.
âI canât wait to get back out there.â He leaned his head back against the back of the couch and stared up at the ceiling like he was in a daze. âItâs gonna feel so good. I dread breaking in a new suit, though. Those things are pretty rough in all the wrong places.â
He shifted again, turning so that he could better face May. âI wish you couldâve smelled the one I wore in space. It smelled like a new car. Itâs kind of like what Iâd imagine a Transformer would smell like, you know?â
