Multishipper Challange
Send me a character and i’ll tell you at least two characters I ship them with
Maybe it was just because the other was far away he felt like the man looked familiar. It could just be him thinking strangely, but he just wasn't sure. Something felt nostalgic about it, but also wrong.. Maybe the other hadn't seen him just yet and he wouldn't have to deal with this nagging feeling.
There was the creeping suspicion again the eyes boring into the back of his person. Suppressing a slight tingle down his spine the shaman took off leaving the vendor mid acquisition much to chagrin with nothing more than an apologetic smile. Rounding a corner he stopped looking back around to see if he could spy an suspicious characters. “But this is no rare text who could possibly be trailing me for it?” He said under his breath to himself.
Upon not seeing anyone he chalked the feeling up to his days back in “Lycian league” as they so boldly named themselves. Chuckling at the old memories he brushed the fading feeling away carrying on at his usual leisurely pace.
Accepting it back he couldn’t figure why he felt slightly upset rather than glad to have t back. “Erm thank you, you see i had another like this one but i left it back with my family.” He stopped slowly leaving the words to trail off. “Besides you looked as if you could use it, you say you have youre own copy you must have good taste, very impressive for one as young as yourself.” He said cheerily as he silently debated over asking what was wrong. Finally settling the matter he tugged at his scarf and cleared his throat before looking directly at him. “If you don’t mind me asking, what is the matter? You seemed quite distraught….”
" Well It’s not exactly mine.. it used to belong to my father.." He actually couldn’t remember ever reading the book himself. Maybe he was read it before but he couldn’t remember, like most things related to his mother and father. " Well.. i’m actually not sure..So it really doesn’t matter.." or it did, but it would just end up confusing him more.
Slightly taken aback Canas would have ever expected his suggestion to stuck such a deep chord. "Ah my apologies. I am so sorry, Well maybe this is a sign to read it?" he tried hoping to turn the talk into a more positive one. Still unsure about how to conduct himself the shaman folded his arms in on himself as if trying to shrink away.

Looking back over his shoulder sharply he saw the seemingly down on his luck male coming after him. Stopping he turned back plastering a smile to his features. “Ahh yes can i help you?” He really didn’t have any idea of what to expect, until the though crossed his mind. What if the man took offense to his act of kindness and took it as some pitying act of charity.
It didn’t take to long for him to catch up with the other. ” I suppose I should say thanks for the sentiment, but here’s the book back.” Without waiting he handed the older male back the book. ” It looks like something you shouldn’t just give to a stranger.. plus I’ve got another one back home..”

Upon not seeing anyone he chalked the feeling up to his days back in “Lycian league” as they so boldly named themselves. Chuckling at the old memories he brushed the fading feeling away carrying on at his usual leisurely pace.
Shaking his head and silently deeming himself ridiculous the shaman retraced his steps back to the vendor passing by many whom he was previously scanning to assess their threat levels. Returning to the vendor apologising and blaming his sudden disappearance on some made up factor. Immediately picking up where he left off in his haggling finally wearing down the hardy seller into a low point even the scholar himself was surprised to get.
Claiming the familiar book in his clutched he turned around ready to make the trip home when he saw something he couldn’t turn from. Just across from and down a ways was a young man looking quite defeated, looking from his book and back the shaman knew what he was about to do. Taking a breath he crossed the few steps spanning between them handing him the book before even gaining his attention. “Here, a good book should remedy whatever ales you.” Without waiting for the crown of messy purple hair to raise and thank him, Canas took off, waiting any longer surely would have proved too difficult for him to part with the collectors copy of his favourite book from his childhood.
He had been so caught up in thinking that he hadn’t even notice the other coming his way. Nor did he expect him to do what he had done. It took a bit to process what was in his hands. He was familiar with the book in his hands. From what he knew it had been a book his father enjoyed reading him before he passed on.
Before Hugh knew what he was really doing he followed after the man again. There was no way he could keep it. He could tell it was the collectors edition of a book by it’s binding, but he didn’t need this when he had a perfectly good copy already. Even if he didn’t plan on going there for a while. “Hey!” Maybe he sounded a bit to loud but he needed to get the others attention so he could give it back to it’s owner.
Looking back over his shoulder sharply he saw the seemingly down on his luck male coming after him. Stopping he turned back plastering a smile to his features. "Ahh yes can i help you?" "Do I know you?" Shinon eyed the stranger closely.
"Possibly..? You see my work takes me to all sorts of places at any given time. Ah but if you don’t I am Canas, it’s a pleasure to meet you?" He ventured the last slowly extending an arm
Pleasure? Shinon looked at the outstretched arm, then he raised his eyes to look at the other male’s face. Did he really want to make ‘friends’ with more people?
"Shinon" He replied shortly, hesitating just one moment before he took Canas’ arm, giving it a short shake before quickly pulling away.
"You’re here because of your work?" He asked, trying not to sound too bored.
"Work?" The thought ad never crossed his mind. Judging by the looks of the other male, Canas came to the conclusion he wasn’t in search of oddities like himself. "Ah you see i am here to retrieve a rare pendant needed to open one of my books, it was just dug up recently you see."
He continued on not even registering the shake or shortness. “I assume its safe to safe that you are here for work then?” The shaman ventured with a light smile
"I’m here to aid someone, that’s all I know" Shinon replied shortly and gave the other male a small glare. "So I guess that someone… is you"
Oh great! They were going treasure hunting, Or he was at least going to escort the man towards his destination. Hopefully they wouldn’t run into much trouble.
"Joy" He said under his breath and looked away. All he wanted was to get this over with and go back home.
"But i assumed you didn't know me?" the scholar teased lightly taking Shinon's declaration as him offering his assistance. "Company is always appreciated. Traveling alone does get... well lonesome every so often. But forgive me for prying, you're bow has caught my eye it's quite strange where did you find it?" He questioned leaning in slowly as to get a closer look at it, he was right, it was very impressive. Not one to use weapons he self he was still taken by the craftsmanship. "I stuided bows for an extended period of time and the smith who made this must have been quite the legend."
Fluff & Romance Starters
"Well aren’t you sweet?" “The stars look especially lovely tonight.” “I’ve never seen such gorgeous eyes before.” “May I have this dance?” “I can’t stop thinking about you.” “Let’s build a pillow fort together and eat marshmallows in it!” “Want to play a game?” “Let’s play tag!” “Stop being so cute!” “Let’s get to know each other over dinner.” “All I want is snuggles and kisses.” “Let’s go to the park and have a picnic!” “Let’s just enjoy the day.” “Want to watch the sunset with me?” “The sunset looks absolutely beautiful.” “I don’t think anyone could ever be as lovely as you my dear.” “You look incredible in that.” “It’s quite stunning, isn’t it?” “These flowers, I got them just for you.” “Would you like to dance with me?” “Do you believe in love at first sight?” “I think I’m in love.” “You’re the best friend I ever had.” “Could you ever consider us as more than just friends?” “I want this to never end…” “Can I kiss you?” “I want to kiss you…” “Never have I felt this way about anyone before.” “A fairytale with a happy ending always brings a smile to my face.” “Just being next to you is electrifying.” “Sometimes I just can’t control myself when around you.” “Let’s dance!” “I want to hear you sing.” “Let me sing for you.” “I could never leave you, I love you too much!” “I’ll always be right by your side to protect you.” “You’ll never feel alone with me by your side.” “I want to always protect you.” “Is it possible to love too much?”
"Ah! The nerd lord is here! Hi Canas!" Nils waved his arms around to catch the dark mage's attention.
"Ahh erm…?" Closing his mouth back Canas stopped, stumped. How did one respond back to that? Giving a weak wave in return leaving it at that until he could process a more appropriate response.
"I was on my way to Etruria you see I just got word of a rare edition i have yet to read becoming available and it seems I was not the only one informed of it’s arrival." He explained playing about with the cuff of his sleeve rubbing the material between his fingers. "As for yourself, what might you be up too?"
"Sounds neat!" Actually it sounded pretty boring to the dragon. He was never one for books unless they had to do with dragons or music. "I’m just wandering. Looking for more songs to learn and people to meet." He was still anxious around strangers but that was never going to change if he just sat around.
"Oh is that so? Have you studied any classical composers? If not i would be happy to lend you a few of my copies of musical notation." He responded always happy to teach and instill learning in the young looking mind. Bringing a hand to his chin he thought deeply for a few moments he contemplated the bard musical prowess. "Of course i will be more than happy to leave them in your care as long as you promise me to take excellent care of them, you see i will need them at some point again. But I have faith in you, i will leave you with the more complex and mature sheet music. That might be a good enough challenge for someone of your expertise correct?"

Vainity isn't a thing that crosses Canas' mind ever.Seeing as he is so absorbed in his studies he will on occasion stay awake for days on end and then keep moving hair disheveled, clothes a mess, and dark bags under his eyes. He himself doesn't think of the question because he in all honesty doesn't completely care for his appearance in most cases.
Heαdcαɴɴoɴ: At one point in time Canas went a complete week in utter shambles, mussed hair, dark bags, pen marks on his face and even dried food on his sleeve. Simply because he couldn't figure out this one equation until a friend came along and confiscated all of his materials until he got himself back into correct operating order.
Maybe it was just because the other was far away he felt like the man looked familiar. It could just be him thinking strangely, but he just wasn't sure. For some reason he couldn’t help but follow. Well not exactly follow more so just walking in a similar direction. Though there was a feeling he’d like to get a better look a the person, there was one that said it wasn’t a good idea. These mixed feelings weren’t helping him at all. After a while he came to a bench and sat down, signing softy not sure what he was doing anymore.
Shaking his head and silently deeming himself ridiculous the shaman retraced his steps back to the vendor passing by many whom he was previously scanning to assess their threat levels. "Canas! It’s nice to see you finally showed up!" Yarne said shyly as he poked his head into the dark mage’s tent. "We put a little something together for you as a welcome gift! We hope you like it!" yarne held out a dark purple and black Easter basket. Inside was a copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, a postcard featuring the Queen of England, lots of Earl Grey tea, a paper crown with the title “Nerd Lord” inscribed on it (made completely by Nils), a new scarf with a tag on it that read “to: papa, love: Hugh,” and finally a life long renewable library card! “Welcome to FERP!”
Startled and confused the shaman accepted the basket. ” Ahh erm thank you kindly. All of these will be very useful… Yes.” He murmured slowing as he got to the paper crown. Holding it up and inspecting the craftsmanship. “Ah yes much appreciated I was running out of tea anyways!” Placing the crown on and tucking the basket, maybe coming here wasn’t such a bad idea after all.
