God of death is a punching bag, canon
Before TCF side story 6: "That motherfucking god of death!" [derogatory]
After TCF side story 6: "That motherfucking God of Death!" [affectionate]
Cale, every night, thinking how much he fucked up things for his slacker life:
:(
Sealed god is underated. Thus, i should let you guys know his appearance
cale has been adopted by his ancient powers
I like how inside Cale's mind is an entire monologue about Slacker Life, and everyone misunderstood him from being too stressed out about the war and saving the people.
Everytime
Alberu: "what are you guys doing in my bedroom—"
Cale:
Do you think there's a bob alternate universe in lcf
If god of death , why look heavenly?
Punched him without warning
BRO HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN SAGE.
NOW YOU HAVE HOLY SHIT.

Dorph: h-
White star: SHUT UP. EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION RAISES MY SELF ESTEEM.
Endable kingdom arc
i dont know if this is a widely held theory or not, but i think part of the reason kim dokja's face is blurred out is because the story (and kim dokja) never gives us a full description of his appearance. he's not a face. he's the narrator, he's a stream of consciousness, he's the guy who's head were in. like many novel protagonists he's a seemingly blank slate of potential we can project our notions onto.
a character looks the way the reader imagines them and kim dokja is a 'reader' not a 'character'.
its not until lee jihye becomes her own narrator is she able to see what he looks like. when we see the world from her eyes—when we view the story in third person, without it being an extension of kim dokja's ability—he becomes a person with a face.
in that moment he's not a narrator, not a reader. he's just a person being perceived by another
