OMG HER WEE FAAAAAAAACCCCCEEEE
This gets funnier to me everything I watch it.
I love that sheâs not putting on a scary mask, or making scary faces or noises, or wearing her clothes to distort her figure, or doing anything overtly scary or inhuman. Sheâs just⊠walking in a way that humans are technically capable of walking and itâs somehow terrifying. Itâs not even just that itâs unusualâ if sheâd come around the corner walking on her hands I doubt theyâd have bolted.
I wonder if this is a learned fear (from horror movies and such) or something instinctive about the pose?
And itâs a practical effect - it isnât CGI - that dress ACTUALLY EXISTS
The cause of racism is often fear of the unknown - lack of knowledge about other cultures. Travel, explore and learn - open your mind.
I will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, reblog this every time it comes up on my blog. This is the BEST statement, Iâve ever seen.Â
I really love this. So many are dead-set on the view that people cannot better themselves but that simply isnât true. Everybody deserves a second chance and everybody has the ability to better themselves.Â
itâs honestly wild that âkanye west commissioned a lifelike nude wax figure of taylor swift and filmed himself sleeping next to itâ hasnât been a more major factor in the discussion of the ethics of this whole feud. like all celebrity theatrics aside if i ever found out that a man had paid thousands and thousands of dollars to create a malleable nude figure of me with lifelike handpainted nipples and then he filmed himself lying in bed next to it and put it on the internet for millions of people to look at i would press charges.
Iâm both

on september 11th 2001, two planes crashed into the world trade centre in new york city. It was a massacre. 3000 dead in a matter of 24 hours. the entire world was in shock of the atrocity, the brutal, diabolical murder of scores of innocents.Â
the american government reacted accordingly. a full investigation was launched to hold the culprits responsible â what nation could have sanctioned such a brutal attack on so many innocents? what kind of soulless country could, regardless of vendetta, allow such a heinous crime?Â
by 2002, the united states had their answer. the investigation was complete. A 600 page document known as the Congressional Report on 9/11 was released. approx 20 pages detailing the workings of the nation responsible were produced. The report was published.Â
Except the name of the country responsible for 9/11 was redacted in the report. blackened out with a sharpie. It would remain redacted for 14 years. The country in question? Saudi Arabia.Â
Instead of declaring to the world who was involved in orchestrating 9/11, the u.s. would hide this information for over a decade.Â
Instead, they would point fingers at Iraq, whilst knowing that iraq had nothing to do with the attack in the first place. They would orchestrate journalistic propaganda in the new york times about âweapons of mass destructionâ â a narrative that had been proven false by their very own intelligence officers, a narrative that had been shot down by every journalist that had ever stepped foot in Niger (where the purported ingredients of mass destruction were coming from). Regardless, the New York Times would dutifully publish the perverted stories anyway. NYT editors would say âto not invade iraq is the bigger mistakeâ.Â
In 2003, the months of building up false stories in the media, propaganda in every mainstream newspaper, journal and t.v. show would pay off. The u.s. would invade iraq.Â
from 2003 -Â 2011 the country of iraq would be brutalized in ways never seen before by mankind. modern, 21st century warfare would decimate the very spirit of iraq. at least 460 000 innocent, iraqi civilians murdered in 8 years. entire generations were wiped out in less than a decade. we will never know their names.Â
waves of sexual violence committed upon âcapturedâ cities ensued at the hands of american soldiers. many of the survivors, if not dead at the hands of their occupiers, would take their own lives. we will never know their names.Â
in 2011, the blood in iraq is finally dry. weâve leeched all of it. weâve procured the natural resources we came for â itâs time to head out. the so called WMD we came for were never found, they did not exist, they were never real to begin with. A far cry from how things got started, we start seeing articles about the falsehood of the iraq war. the same publishers who willingly handed out propaganda to the masses about WMD in Saddamâs hands are now saying âwaitâŠweâve made an error.â the narrative shifts. the occupation ends 3 years after a new commander in chief is granted the power to end it. in its wake we leave behind military bases and mercenaries that are ready to activate whenever called upon.Â
That same year, the u.s. supports various popular movements across the arab world. tens of regimes are flipped.Â
and in that same year, using the same weapons left behind by valiant american rapists and invaders, an army of another kind of mercenaries is born. they call themselves ISIL, then ISIS.Â
ISIS vows to cleanse the muslim world of shia muslims, minority sect muslims, christians, yezidis, Jewish people. ISIS also vows they are enemies of the u.s. America vows vice versa. Their feud is a celebrated one. ISIS, the evil nemesis of the Brave & Courageous America.Â
But then, 2012 happens. America, losing their influence and control over the levant, start funding ISIS factions. America starts funding Al-Qaeda factions.Â
The same NYT that once convinced us that Iraq had WMD is now INSISTING that these al-qaeda factions, that themselves claim to be brothers of al-qaeda, are moderate rebels simply looking for democracy and liberation. people believe it.Â
Americaâs proxies in the levant go on to destroy the region in unimaginable waysâand then, 2018 happens.Â
Iraqis & Iranians destroy ISIS. Indisputably, action from both nations led to the destruction of ISIS, now a paid member of the U.S. military. America, once using ISIS and AQ factions to regain control over the levant struggles to position themselves as the heroes â attempting pathetically to play both sides of the same coin. Again, the same way outlets like NYT backtracked their Iraq war propaganda, they start apologizing for identical mistakes in naming actual american funded terrorists as âfreedom fighters.â another cycle ends.Â
ISIS is gone, but the real loss is Americaâs. Theyâve lost the barbaric feudalistic control they once held in the region via ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Their terrorist assets have been reduced to ashes by a people they once themselves invaded from 2003 - 2011.
This brings us to today. The united states has assassinated Qassem Soleimani, Iranâs second in command. this is akin to another nation murdering the likes of mike pence, joe biden or dick cheney. it is an act of war. 4000 troops have been deployed to the Iraq-Iran region. It is an invasion.Â
And just as in 2003 the NYT & MSM justified the faulty invasion of iraq, and just as in 2012 the NYT & MSM justified the funding of ISIS & AQ factions, in 2020, a new propaganda will circulate to justify the illegal assassination of sovereign leaders.Â
New propaganda will circulate to justify a new era of bloodshed in Iraq & Iran and the rape and murder of innocents. New propaganda will vilify young, brown children as terrorists. New propaganda will circulate to return us to the year 2003.Â
There is nothing I can do within my capacity to help anyone. I am completely useless in saving any of the lives that will be taken in the next several years.Â
All I can do is ask that when you see a piece of information that attempts to justify the actions of the u.s. on foreign soil, in any foreign nation, that you reduce it to ashes. They lied to you in 2003, they did it again in 2011, they are doing it again in 2020.Â
Reject the lie. Itâs all we can do.Â
i wanna make clear that i absolutely agree with the message here. the US did shit awful things to Iraq, invaded them unnecessarily, and used racist propaganda to get the masses to support the invasion. and theyâre going to try to do it again. people need to be aware of this & question the media they consume to ensure they donât fall for said propaganda. but that also applies to this post.
a lot of your claims seem highly exaggerated if not completely false. like⊠it seems hypocritical that youâd unironically say something like âthe USA funded and controlled ISISâ in a post about the importance propaganda awareness. considering how absurd that statement is and how you donât provide any sources. so i think itâs also very important for people to take things stated in this post with a grain of salt as well.
a big part of getting people to fall for propaganda, conspiracy theories, and the likes is to lure them in with something that is true or seems true. once you lure people in with a fact, theyâre much less likely to reject whatever you say afterwards, because your first impression was that you seem credible. people are going to believe you if you can sandwich a lie in between truths or half-truths. it makes people think âoh well i know this thing is true, so the rest of it must be true as well!â. and thatâs what makes news pieces, articles, and even posts like this so dangerous. because they appear credible and knowledgeable at first glance, and use assumptions to spoon-feed lies to people (including you) without them noticing. they manipulate you into believing everything they say without question.
anyways the takeaway here is to think critically. the antidote to propaganda is education and healthy skepticism. ask yourself if the piece youâre reading/watching lists any sources. if there are none, thatâs a big red flag (where are they getting the information?). if there are, check out said sources and find out if theyâre credible. ask yourself if thereâs any bias or if the whole picture is being presented (are things being withheld to support a certain narrative?). research things for yourself. donât form critical and important viewpoints on the assumption that everything youâre reading or consuming is true. that also applies to this post.
stay safe and be smart y'all
lmfao here is a huffington post article that pops up immediately once you google it that indicates the us did indeed fund AQ affiliates
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/us-support-for-al-qaeda-l_b_10089410
If you want to see how they fund ISIS affiliates search up Ahrar ul sham. That alone will give you all you need.
You tore apart this post and called it exaggerations without even doing the legwork eh?? No research whatsoever on your end, just immediately âhmm this sounds dramaticâ.
Take your own advice before preaching to others. It is insulting that people are being murdered overseas and you are questioning easily found information just because it doesnât SOUND like your version of reliable to you. This is again the point of the post. How ridiculous man lmfaoooo. âIt doesnât SEEM like the US would do that and I see no CNN links soâŠhmmâŠguess Iâll just trust otherwise.â
Again take your own advice. People are being murdered while we sit here trying to convince you of the truth. @twentydollarpeanut
The United States needs to do more than wag its finger at Syrian rebel groups for "comingling" with Al Qaeda-affiliated Salafist jihadists o
maybe instead of getting mad and providing the sources, u shouldâve /just/ provided the sources without question. when i was reading the post (and im not american) some of the stuff really sounded like reaches, particularly because itâs the first time iâm hearing it AND thereâs no source provided. no need to get worked up over some rando not believing you, just provide the sources. thatâs it.
@bubbaluh @icedrice
âsounded like reachesâ & âitâs my first time hearing itâ is so pathetic and funny to me. what has deluded you into thinking itâs my responsibility to educate you vs. you looking into NEW information on your own? have you never learned anything before? is studying a new concept to you? you have access to tumblr but not google? this is the laziest shit iâve ever seen and from hundreds of you in the notes. itâs hilarious that you are incapable of doing even the most basic of research for 1 second to find out on your own.Â
at one point you all have to put on your big boy pants and do the research yourself. Again, what is stopping you from researching what iâve written and verifying it for yourself? i would much rather you both come to your own conclusions based on your own research vs. whining & crying like little babies that i wonât spoon feed you information.Â
this may be a hard pill to swallow for some people but like. 90% of the fires in australia wouldnât be happening right now if people had just fucking listened to indigenous peoples
literally just. give us our FULL sovereignty back over these areas half of them arenât even inhabited and almost none of them have ANY cultural significance to white australia (not that that should even matter cause itâs. aboriginal land and it always will be but whatever). give us control over them and shit like this wonât happen and our communities will heal.
Is OP implying the fires are the result of some kind of Aboriginal curse or something? Is the continent itself breaking out in fever in an attempt to cleanse itself of white people? Do the Aboriginals have some effective anti-wildfire strategy that the white people are too arrogant to listen to?
we had landcare practices to prevent shit like this. weâd burn the forest litter/hazardously flammable stuff in the cooler months to prevent massive forest fires happening. when our lands were invaded we could no longer implement these practices and now the leaf litter will build up and set on fire again and again and now the forest fires will be huge.
Its scientifically proven that Aboriginal people didnât suffer from wild bushfires, pre invasion. And its also proven that back burning (burning parts of the land per season) actually encourages new life and promotes animal breeding. Aboriginal science outweighs white science.
Followers, âïž This 100%. Happy to send people the studies and papers and stuff (or just have the conversation with sources) but by looking at tree ring scars, we can see that some areas had fires once every 80 years - and now those same regions are burning every few years. Itâs un-natural for Australia, this isnt a continent meant to be chaotically and uncontrollably burning forever.
The intensity of fire is increasing bc of biomass is changing, plant species are changing, rivers diverted and drying up. Soil salinity is spiking, soil erosion is getting worse - and a thousand other things that aboriginal activists and people have been warning about for centuries.
Areas under native title where mosaic burning happens HAS LESS/NO OUT OF CONTROL FIRES. The evidence is literally right there.
Part of the out of control fires are climate change, part is european settlements and farming practices causing absolute fucking chaos on local ecosystems. these fires are not sudden or out of the blue or anything - theyâve been a long time coming from systematic environmental neglect and intentional environmental fuckery. You reap what you sow.
Plot twist: The peoples that have actually been living in Australia for thousands of years, surprisingly, have got this shit figured out
this was also the case in america as well until around the 1960s when white people finally figured out that fire was a natural part of the ecosystem and some plants even need it to reproduce (like the giant sequoia). of course, native americans had been saying these things, but it was ignored. so all of these âgreat fires ofâ were the result of accumulation of highly flammable underbrush and the inevitability of fires (mostly from lightning rather than the smokey bear era belief that campfires started all forest fires)
in the 1980s, 3 major fire events (including the Yellowstone fires in 1988) ended the widescale practice of fire suppression and the adoption of âfire managementâ
essentially, fires are allowed to burn themselves out within certain acceptable areas. obviously this is meant to prevent fires from spreading to areas with human settlement (since, unlike australia, most of america has at least some human population).
however, this also means that areas outside of these acceptable fire zones were accumulating undergrowth without smaller fires controlling the growth, which makes them hard to control once they reach these areas, which are generally near people. so those fires in california are basically what all of america was once at risk of before fire management became widely used.
but yeah, again, listen to indigenous people when they tell you how /their/ land works.
