"Three things cannot be long hidden; the sun, the moon and the truth".
Reblog this if its okay for your followers to introduce themselves to you.
Please do!
Yes! I’m super nice I promise. I wish I could introduce myself to some people I follow but I’m too scurred. :/
Just do it! You’re super lovely so it could only go well :)
May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night, and a smooth road all the way to your door.

Hey body, mind, eyes, mouth, hands, back-I am worthy.
Self care is not a bath bombNor is it a face maskNor a sweet-smelling lotionNor a cup of herbal teaSelf care is bathing because you lost count of how many days it’s been since you were cleanSelf care is catching up on three days of work because you don’t know where your brain went from Wednesday through FridaySelf care is doing laundry when you can’t remember what’s clean and what’s dirty from the massive pile on the floorSelf care is exercising because it’s the only anti-depressant you haveSelf care is letting yourself cry for the first time in months when you’ve wanted to almost every daySelf care is making yourself dinner when you’ve gone all day without eatingSelf care is taking a deep breath and sorting through what you need to doIt doesn’t come from bath and body works or Lush or GhiradelliIt isn’t cutesy or fun It’s relief It’s responsibility
because the world doesn’t stop for a warm bath and a good book (via wheresagnes)
My younger self deserves that beautiful life she always tried to create with her markers and crayons.
It’s up to me to make us smile. (L)
We are trying something new, where we are asking are followers questions to feature on the blog. If you don't mind and would like to, take a moment to answer: What inspires you? What keeps you going? What do you want in your life? -L
What inspires you: Blogs (like yours!) knowing people are going through hard situations but are still coping well really inspires me. Also Positive thinkers.
What keeps you going: Proving people wrong. That’s includes myself and others who have hurt me. I want to become the best and remembering why you want to get better is a great encouragement for me. Also, recording how far you’ve come really helps to show yourself what you’ve achieved and has helped a lot when I’ve felt like giving up!
What do you want in your life: i want to be happy. I don’t want to feel so insecure, anxious, alone, sad, unwanted or worthless. I want to make myself and others around me happy because it’s good for my Heath! I am a long way from it yet but I’m getting on the right track. :)
Hope that was any use to you?!
Have a good day :)
Humans are weird. The people who seem the most confident often have the biggest insecurities and the people who are the most communicative are often too scared to talk about the most important things.
There is more inside your chest than heartache. There is the four elements. There is fire. There is water. There is air. There is earth. And there is something else as well. There is strength.

Movies inspire me. Movies and videos that people create. Art that people create inspires me. The idea that there are still new and beautiful works of art to see keeps me going. Art has helped me so much in my life and I can only hope that I get to create inspirational art to help other people too.
Just as some girls always have boyfriends, I was that one girl who never did. I just sat back and listened as I heard story after story of walking hand in hand while watching sunsets by the beach, picnics in the park, first kisses, first dates, first loves. I smiled because I was happy for them. I really was. But the hopeless romantic in me ached, falling apart a little bit more with each confession, each recollection of something that sometimes I think I’ll never have. It’s not their fault. They’re beautiful girls with hearts and minds to match. They have flirty glances, easy icebreakers, and the hard-to-get aura down to a tee. And me? I smile through conversations where I know I can’t contribute anything to except stories that aren’t mine, experiences that I’ve never had. Eventually, I stop attempting to pay attention all together. So I just sit here watching, hoping that one day someone will see my heart and mind that way.

It’s crazy how much I can relate to this. At first I used to think I’m probably the weirdst girl to be start high school and still not have had one bf yet. But now that I think about it I’m really happy about that choice. High school was enough stress as is and adding a bf in to the mix could’ve been way worst. When ever I saw my friends with there bf they always had some type of drama at one point in the relationship and honestly I didn’t not have time for that stress plus the stress of tests and projects. I’d rather wait till college for my perfect gentleman then get some childish guy in high school (not that every guy in high school is childish because yes there are the few good ones). Plus in high school I’m still so young it’s not like I’m 50 and still didn’t date or have my first kiss yet so it’s not that crazy to wanna wait till maybe college for dating or whenever you feel is comfortable. I’d rather be at a comfortable part in my life where I know I can deal with a bf and all the stuff that goes with dating, plus handle my own business. -C
PLEASE do not take this as, “you can’t find someone with different features than you beautiful.” That is not what I’m saying. I am NOT saying to hate what is different. I am NOT saying that a group is better than the other. I am NOT saying that you cannot appreciate what you don’t look like or have. It’s just with social media and the constant exposure to selfies, it’s so easy to neglect your own features as you envy what someone else has been born with. My 5’7 way more than a 140 pound self would look at the pictures of 5’0 and 100 pounds girls and be sad because my body was not like theirs. Sometimes I lusted after the legs of girls who are 5’10 as they posed in a short skirt. Sometimes I would drool over girls with curlier hair than me and be mad when I couldn’t get my texture to look the same. Of course it’s wonderful to bask in the beauty of so many different shapes, sizes, types of faces, cultures. Of course its wonderful to have your Instagram and Tumblr feed filled with people with different stories. It is a great thing to be expose to all of that. It truly is. In addition to all the different beauties you have on your feed, you also should try to find people with similar features as well on your social media. You should follow the tall girls like you. You should follow the girls with the same small frame. You should follow the girls who have dark skin like you or ones with the same skin that always looks red no matter what. You should follow someone whose been through their sex transformation like you. You should to follow a fellow size 16 or a fellow size 2. And guys too, you should also try to follow what looks like you as well. You are not excluded in the pressure to look some kind of way. Every scroll and every like shouldn’t cause you to put yourself down or get upset because maybe you’ll never look like that. That is not how you appreciate someone else’s beauty, by carelessly disregarding your own. Find a balance. Store some pictures of people who look like you too on your camera roll. If you’re the type that finds it hard to accept the way you look, you need to find some relatable pages as well. Pages where the person you are calling beautiful kinda looks like you too, has the same dark brown eyes as you, or the same gap between their teeth, or wide hips, or small frame like you. Learn to appreciate yourself too. -L
I am often unaware of the good things I produce, but some days I look at my hands and almost cry. I have made beautiful things.
Whether you write, paint, draw, dance, cook, care for a child, fix cars, garden, sew, design buildings, shoot baskets into hoops, run with a football by your side, you make and do beautiful things too.
At any point of your life, you can change
There are some things I kept on doing because I felt like I owed it to some people. I once thought I could not change my life because of this. I had this notion that I could not do something for myself because I was someone they were use to.
