Making a Height Chart with some of the DBZ characters. It is taking a lot longer than I thought it would, but that’s probably mostly due to procrastination more than anything else. 

That, and Tumblr seems to be eating itself so I had to weight whether or not I still even wanted to post anything here. For now, I suppose I’ll stick with it and we’ll just see how everything turns out.

I had a whole thing planned with the entire cast, but I got sick, and was out for like a week. So enjoy a more reduced version! It’s smaller, but still good I think.

The Meeting!

I love the idea of Goku and Chi-Chi just immediately clicking. They’re both really straightforward characters, and I feel like they’d just connect on some level. Unlike say Bulma and Vegeta who both have a ton of baggage that makes them jaded.

My tablet pen is broken (I’m getting a new one today) so I haven’t been able to do much here. Which sucks since all I’ve got left is coloring and some minor touch-ups.  I managed to get Goku in the third panel done though, and his expression is better imo.

Goku’s hair is surprisingly the toughest part about coloring this. It’s hard to capture that ‘rough, but on purpose kind of rough’ look that I’m going for.

Here it is altogether. Chi-Chi’s face in panel 2 will definitely be shifted, and panel 3 most likely as well. Goku is a gem and will stay the same (but, don't hold me to it, I’m fickle).

It took me hours to get Goku just right and I’m still not 100% happy.

And I am finally done! This took way longer than I expected, but that’s on me since I’m so out of practice drawing backgrounds. Especially with the perspective I wanted to show. Like I said in my last? post I have a ton of ideas for this whole AU so expect more art in line with this theme.
