Checking in from the big apple
Posting from a Starbucks like a true city blogger ha! Training week has been completed, though I made a tiny modification. Yesterday I completed 12 miles at Central Park, yay me!Ā Central Park long loop I had only schedule 10. Week 11 here we go!!
This week I only work two days and then I will be on vacation!! So obviously it is a little scary to plan for exercising while away from home. This past week I completed my gym schedule to the T, including my 2 mile treadmill run. Where I failed was at my long run. I seem to be stuck at 8 miles. Plus I was slower than my previous 8 miler. Because I really donāt want to exercise today! Week has gone good so far. I was sore for two days for doing two classes Monday, but it was totally worth it. Iām panicking right now! This is half way there! And Iām so behind!! I know Iāve been MIA, but not to worry, Iāve been exercising. Zumba twice a week, BODYCOMBAT twice a week, but not much running. Unfortunately my long runs have not gone over 8 miles. Will really try to push to 10 this coming Saturday and hopefully I will run a couple miles over the week. Iām stressed- but itās too late to cryā¦

Army Ten Miler done!
You can tell it was a bad one when I havenāt run here to write all about it, ha! I shouldnāt complain though. Saturday was raining all day long. So Sunday was relatively a very nice day. Sunny and chill but not cold. The only problem was the 40mph wind! Iāve read from 19 to 50, so letās give it a 40. But no kidding it was strong enough to mess up with you. I completed my Disney room reservation a couple days ago and now I have a countdown to my marathon, so not ready for this! so no Iām at about 90 days! this is getting real. Week 7 done!
Last week was a very good one! I exercised 6 days of the week and it was awesome! Monday and Wednesday BODYCOMBAT, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Zumba, Wednesday and Thursday a short run. Saturday a very wet long run. Iām exhausted, but in a good way. Unfortunately this week is going to be much shorter when it comes to exercise. Itās going to be a wet long run tomorrow! I have to do it! Canāt make any excuses⦠Iāve done my fair share ofĀ rainy runs and they arenāt awful.Ā I just have to beat my laziness and not use rain as an excuse to stay in bed tomorrow morning. I also must prepare tonight so that I donāt have āissuesā tomorrow morning. Must leave my clothes ready tonight, with a few layers just in case it gets chilly.ā¦

Another week, another week
Monday is here once again! How was last week? I guess I did ok Monday BODYCOMBAT, this time I bought some weight gloves and I saw a big difference. No wimpy punches in the air, I had to be strong to keep up with those gloves. I also felt the difference the day after, good workout! Tuesday and Friday ZUMBA. Wow it almost didnāt happen⦠I slept thru the alarm! When I finally woke up it was 7am. Iām supposed to meet my running group at 6:30 am so there was no point on trying to meet them so late. Itās the first day of Fall!
Canāt wait for perfect running weather! Weather.com is telling me that Saturday morning, for my long run, we will be at nice and cool 65 degrees. Iām so excited! Thereās nothing better then fresh breeze in your face and you feel like you can keep running and running. Letās hope Iām not jinxing me! Need to complete at least 7 miles on Saturday.
