It is Douglas Adams’ birthday today. He would have been 65. He was only 30 when this Polaroid was taken, and I was a 22 year old journalist there to interview him. I wish he were still with us. We need his mind.

It’s funny that the photo makes it look as though @neil-gaiman is smoking because of the position of his hand and all I could think was, “Dude! You’re smoking in the man’s house! That’s rude!”
