Tiananmen Square protests being started because Chinese people were afraid of African students cucking them is an insane bit that is somehow true.
It's obviously a racist idea based on the idea of "Black people are coming to ravage your women" but they really got put in a blender by the CPC because they were afraid students from Africa were actually voracious rapists. Deserved.
@hagiomoto @exhaustedcatgirl look up the Nanjing Anti-African protests. They weren't the sole cause of the Tiananmen Square protests but were one of the major student protest movements that led to the latter occurring.
This article goes over the protests. This pro-protester article tries to talk about the nuance of the anti-black protests being contrasted with the "pro-democracy" protests occurring on the same campuses being led by the exact same students.
