I’ve never been more emotionally vindicated by a comic than Molly Knox Ostertag’s The Witch Boy, even as an adult, probably because I wish it existed when I was much younger!

I’ve never seen any appreciation for this work that has made me feel so seen, so I drew something myself. :)

I focused on the aspect of Aster’s experience that resonates with me the most: frustration. The original book does a lot better than I can at showing intense frustration in a single shot!

Terry Funk vs. Cactus Jack, digital, 2025

I made this for an upcoming series of digital paintings showcasing key moments in the history of Extreme Championship Wrestling. The full set will be published in a book that’s a retrospective on that topic. I was reached out to earlier this year to provide a mid-book full color section’s worth of illustrations and it reignited (lmao) a long-dormant passion. This is the first piece in the set that I look at and am in awe of. I feel like I’m getting pretty good at imbuing these scenes with the quality of extreme.

keith haring was expelled from sva after installing an art installation in the school with jean-michel basquiat, which was subsequently destroyed. now the dorms in the same neighborhood these genius artists were associated with has haring style artworks hung up all over. it isn’t very far from either of the places haring and basquiat died. sva doesn’t provide us transportation, either, so i have to endure harassment and physical assault on the street from the bright minds of new york. funny how that works.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. My laptop is on it's last leg

Hey y'all i don't really know how to make this fancier or whatever, and i'm too exhausted to. But my 5+ year old laptop is dying and it's my only source of income at the moment. I had a deal before to pay for half of a new laptop but that deal fell through so i have to pay for the whole thing myself.

I currently have 300/1500$ needed to pay for it. I do have commissions open (only ns-fw options at the moment but I will be opening sfw soon, once I finish new examples).
