“Inspired by Delibes’ ballet ‘Sylvia, the nymph of Diana,’ the Sylvia pendant is the symbol of the Vever woman. It reflects the allegory of Victory, dear to the Vever brothers whose dearest wish was the reconquest of Alsace and Lorraine since its annexation in 1871.

Designed by Paul and Henri Vever in 1900, the beautiful nymph is dressed in an agate dress and has long wings in shades of blue.
