I decided to paint my own figure of Mimikyu.

I thought trying to color match the specific beige/tan/off-white color would be the hardest part, but surprisingly it was the brown of the tail. It kept being too warm, too cool, too light, too dark... I love him so much and am really proud of myself.

I am begging the FDA to require that companies CANNOT just put "spices" as an ingredient but have to label the spices.

"Spices" can mean "this has some oregano and black pepper in it" or it can mean "this has cumin cayenne and paprika and if you eat this you will be sick in bed in pain for a week" for me.

Seriously, this is an allergy issue and a huge oversight on the part of corporations.

Require detailed labeling of spices used in packaged foods NOW.

Seriously, "natural flavorings" has got to go. i should not have to spend twenty minutes trying to figure out if "berry flavor electrolytes", which has a picture of a blackberry on it, might have any extract whatsoever from strawberries, which my housemate who needs the electrolytes is allergic to.

I Had A Very Interesting Interaction With A Kid Today

I am at the doctor's office. There is a little girl in the waiting room with one of her parents while they are waiting for the other. The little girl looked at me, so I waved and said hi. She gave me a strong side eye, which I just chucked at and went back to my phone. I am sitting in the chair closest to the fish tank and the little girl comes over to look at the fish. I see her keep glancing at me out of the corner of my eye. I look at her and she smiles at me while dragging her finger across her throat. I laugh out of pure surprise and shock. Her mum reprimand her and she goes back to looking at the fish. A few minutes later I catch her looking at me again. I look at her and she once again smiles at me and draws her finger across her throat. She is once again reprimanded and goes back to her mum. This girl is like four or five at the most. Like WTF????
