This weekend I started a new round of an old medication for the most recent flare up of my chronic illness. It's an immunosuppressant with some gnarly GI side effects which leaves me in perpetual nauseous hell for a day and a half every week.

Well, I read in forums that there's an injection of the drug that has a chance of circumventing said side-effects, messaged my doctor, and she...listened and switched the medication immediately.

I want to just sob in relief that she listened to me.

I started listening to Temeraire and 3 hours in I'm ready to die and kill for this very emotionally constipated man reading bedtime mathematics to his nerd of a dragon that is sad because it can't breathe fire or spit poison but I just know they'll be so good at wrecking the French navy together.
