( BRIGETTE LUNDY-PAINE, nonbinary, they/them ) it’s everyone’s fav, REBECCA “ANDY” ANDERSON! they are 20 and major in FILM PRODUCTION, and the group knows they’re PASSIONATE and WITTY, but also STUBBORN and MISTRUSTING. they’ve got a big personality for the mix, so watch out in the close quarters this summer!
hey y’all i’m rae and this is my bb andy!!! (rae, she/they, est, 21)
andy’s bio
andy is non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns; they’re not too picky. they’re also hella pansexual
andy left home during winter break of her junior year of high school. it was christmas time, and shit went down, and that’s when they’d decided they’d had enough of their conservative family. they packed a bag, left a note for their family, and spent the next few weeks couch surfing before finding a permanent housing at a group home in san francisco. there, they filled out emancipation papers, got everything that needed to get done legally, and switched schools.
their parents had money and they’d always put them in private school, which they hated. they hated that they couldn’t express themself how they wanted to. as soon as they filed for emancipation, their parents warned them that they’d be cut off financially. this didn’t phase them one bit. they had already been thinking about taking a year off and working before going to community college, anyways.
after graduating with their associate’s in communications (with a concentration in film), andy decided to transfer to dumount university in north carolina. they’d needed a break from the west coast.
andy is very smart and driven; if they wants something, you bet ya ass they’re gonna get it. however, they’re also very mistrusting of people (for obvious reasons) and can be pretty deceptive.
andy is studying film, though, so they know that they will have to move back to CA sooner or later. (which they wouldn’t mind, as long as there’s at least 100 miles between them and their parents)
andy is hoping to get some inspiration for new films on this road trip
orrrr at least practice/improve their cinematography
fun fact: andy and i are v similar (both gender-diverse - i’m genderqueer, go by she/they, are film students, love road trips, etc etc… ) it’ll be a fun challenge to write a character so similar to me in certain aspects, although i have always imagined her to be much edgier and distant from people (except those she cares about most) :D
also i’m challenging my(grammar nerd)self to write andy with “they/them” pronouns, so pls excuse me if i make any mistakes!!
