Ghanaian fathers don’t say things like ‘I love you’

but I guess love is not words, love is action.

The verb- beat. 

Pardon my conjugation, ‘to beat.’

For he who spares the rod spoils the child.

He never loved you if you grew up rotten(?).

No need to use words to scold you, his eyes were enough.

Though the love is unspoken it is (too) deep.
