pokemon teams? cracks knuckles
steve's team is all about being flexible and centered around his job as a hero/saving people. he's got an ivysaur and stoutland that are very good at search and rescue, and a lanturn for any sea rescues. also a braviary for both color scheme (lmao) and air searches. his main offense (aside from his fists) is his first partner lucario.
bucky's team is a little more thematic with his overall story. as bucky he had a growlithe, but after becoming the winter soldier, it became a houndstone. he also picks up a perrserker and an alolan ninetails. then in more of his ~recovery~ period, he'd probably get adopted by a litten, because you know what alpine needs? the ability to set things on fire.
i can't see logan in a pokemon au but if i were assigning him pokemon (and i am bc i go there) i think he'd just have an annihilape. bc why not
honestly, feyn's probably caught and released a lot of pokemon over the years, but the one pokemon that refuses to leave his side even when "dismissed" is his houndoom. that's his ride or die partner.
zevran also doesn't have a big team, in fact, he probably had to give some of his pokemon back/freed them after leaving the crows. the two that stick with him are his alolan ninetails and hisuian typhlosian.
davrin's got a knight in shining armor theme and i'm in love with it. his arcanine has been his partner for forever, but corviknight and aegislash weren't far behind when he set out as a monster hunter. then, after joining the wardens for a few years, he picked up bisharp and golurk. he stumbled across a dratini egg and kept it with him til it hatched.
i'm not gonna lie to you fam. lucanis' team is mostly gimmick. he's got a ceruledge that's been his partner for forever but the majority of his pokemon are the food ones: alcremie, tatsugiri, vanillish, and polteageist. specifically they're from all the different regions he travels to. also: snorlax. motherfucker needs a nap buddy and someone to eat his food.
dorian's team is a nightmare, truly. first there's the snake motif, both in serperior and hydreigon. those were more family pushed picks, but his own was a lil zubat he found as a kid and with a lot of love and care, raised to a crobat. during inquisition he also picks up a mismagius and gardevoir. the growlithe is ferleden (hisuian) lmao.
