A rough start
Trigger warning: Slavery, abuse
One day a man holding onto chains that looks to lead directly to a young teen that had a collar around his neck and big iron cuffs around his arms with worn out clothes, his shirt looking to have been burned with the black marks at the ends of it. The teen also had clear black marks on his skin with what looked like a tattoo on his neck, a bit hard to see under the collar but definitely still there.
Man: "You're moving slow Number 35. Come on."
Teen: "I'm moving as fast as i can, no need to-" He got cut off as he soon felt the chain get tugged hard to make him trip and fall onto the ground.
Man: "I had high hopes for you when i bought you. People are still betting on your scrawny butt to win so don't go dying on me too soon, i need you to pay back every penny you were worth and more. I don't want the money i used to go to waste." He yanked the teen back up and started guiding him towards an arena.
The teen sighed, he could do nothing but follow.

A strong gust of wind blows through the area, and a young man appears sitting in a tree branch, his legs swinging. He gives the two a grin, though it's different depending on who's seeing it. It's slightly menacing toward the adult, and much more gentle toward the teen.
"Wanna fill me in on what's going on here?" he asks, semi-sweetly but his tone making it clear that disobedience is not an option. Venti was only passing through, exploring during his thousand-year sleep, which means the Venti that is encountering them now is pure divinity, rather than his physical form, even if he isn't using that appearance just yet.
The man glared up but soon felt the menacing vibe. He was sweating a bit. "Well, i-i was just... Taking this teen to the arena over there, he loves watching the fights so.." That was a lie, the expression on the teen said as much, the poor boy looked to be showing signs of fear and was trembling ever so slightly, as subtle as it was it wouldn't go past Venti most likely.
"Don't want to go..." The teen mumbled. If he had no choice then he would do what he needed to survive but still. He still didn't like going through it.
"You heard him, hmm? He doesn't want to go. So I think it's about time you get that ugly necklace off of him and get him home, don't you?" Venti subtly orders. Of course, if the owner tries to get around it or take him with him, Venti will, of course, be following and will know for certain.
"Say, what kind of relationship do you have with this man, sweetheart? Do you know him?" he asks the teen, wanting to confirm the situation before he lets them go anywhere.
The man got frustrated. "And go where? He has nowhere else. He will stay with me." Not going to willingly let go off the poor teen it sounds like.
The teen shook his head. "I'm... His slave, he paid money for me but what he says isn't wrong exactly wrong. I ran... And now i have no place to return home to." Looking closer, he dies seem Malnourished. He wanted to go look for his sister but their home was no doubt gone.
"I don't believe I stuttered. Release him. Now," Venti demands. See, Venti still has a sense of mercy, so he permits the man to simply release the teen before true lethal consequences are administered.
Slowly, he looks at the teenager and smiles. "You'll have a home with me, sweetheart. Is that okay?" he asks, knowing that a slave would thrive in the nation of freedom.
The man looked between the two, ge still saw the teen as a way to make money but maybe it wasn't worth dying over, he went through his pocket the shakingly unlock the shackles. He saw he'd be dead on the spot if he refused further and money won't follow him to the grave.
"...Huh?" He looked surprised, staring at the shackles that fell to the ground upon being taken off, he then looked back at Venti. This made the mark on hos neck more visible. "I... Yes. It would be better than this." He didn't know the guy much do of course he's still on guard but he rather take that road than to continue to struggle so much just to live.
"Good! Now then..." he smiles at the teenager, extending a hand. "What's your name, sweetheart? Let's get you a meal, okay?" he offers, noting how malnourished the kid appears.
He then turns back to the man and his eyes sparkle with a subtle rage. "If I ever hear you've been taking slaves again, I won't be so kind next time," he warns.
"Kakavasha..." He introduced himself and looked a bit around, now that those were off he still had something else on his mind. "Why are you so kind to me? Most people look the other way." He didn't understand the kindness that was given to him, the last one to give him such warmth was his mother and sister. "I would like a meal, but i don't have any money on me. And... Have you seen my sister? She has long blonde hair, a bit older...." She unfortunately most likely didn't make it.
The man gulped and nodded before he ran off with a hurry, not wanting to test the other's patience.
"Kakavasha... A beautiful name for a beautiful child," he says kindly, retracting his hand, understanding it may have been too sudden for an abused child. "Hehe, I'll tell you my secret later on. Just know that I don't stand for slavery. Ever. Everybody should be free to live the way they want, on their own terms~. Just like you should be free to return to your family one day."
He smiles gently, shaking his head. "No need. I have money for that purpose, little one. I wouldn't expect you to pay for anything, considering you're, what, ten? No child should be paying for any of their own basic necessities- that's an adult's job to take care of you. It's something you're owed simply for being brought into this world," he explains calmly, seeming infinitely patient and kind toward the child. Venti can be immature and playful, but he really is a good person with a very soft heart. It's a miracle he even survived the Archon War. "Your sister...? I haven't... But we can look together, okay?" he offers, knowing that more than likely, she didn't survive, but unable to crush his spirit.
A small smile could be seen, it wasn't very big but at least it was a real one. It will probably take a bit of time for him to give any big smiles. "Secret...? That sounds good. Okay i'll hold you to that one." He was relieved to hear someone look at it that way, valuing freedom to that extent, maybe he has been lucky to meet Venti. "My mother and father is... Gone. But if you're fine with looking for my sister with me... Thank you." Oh dear, sounds like his whole family got massecered in cold blood, to then be put into slavery... What a sad and heartbreaking childhood. He looked like he was at the verge of crying but he held himself away from it. "An adult's job huh? Thank you for taking care of me..." Seems he was touched by the kindness Venti showed him.
He nods happily, returning Kakavasha's small smile with a bright one of his own. He can't help but notice just how similar Kakavasha looks to Aventurine, but brushes it off as a coincidence. He'd have to ask Aventurine about it later... "Oh, sweetheart... I'm so sorry about your parents... But I'm more than happy to look for your sister with you, no matter how long it takes." Whether or not they find her alive is a different story, but at the very least, Kakavasha deserved to know his sister's fate.
He kneels down to be at eye-level with Kakavasha, nodding softly and gently brushing his cheeks, just to show that he's ready to wipe away his tears if needed, as every adult in this poor child's life who failed him should have. "Of course, little one... C'mon, let's get you some food in your tummy. Can I pick you up?" he asks, willing to fly so Kakavasha doesn't have to put any more strain on his legs when he's so malnourished.

Event: Valentine's Speed Dating
*You were minding your own business, when you came across a stylish looking tent with the colors of Valentine's day all over it. There was a sign hanging above the entrance of the tent. It reads: 'Love-tastic Valentine's day Speed Dating! Hosted by Fashion queen Monophanie'. A valentine's speed date, huh? Sounds interesting. Before you could do anything else, someone comes out of the tent and greets you.*
"Hello.......My name is Me Daichi......Will you be.....participating in.....our special.....valentine's day......event......? It will......be loads.....of fun......I promise it will......."

"Speed dating? Ehehe! Sounds fun! Sure, I'll give it a try!" Venti exclaims cheerfully. He doesn't actually date mortals, but for something casual, he can indulge for a bit of fun for the day. After all, not like he has anything better to do being stuck in this world.
"Great....This way....." *Me leads Venti into the room, eventually entering a room with Monophanie.*
"Ah! You must be Venti, Monodam's friend, right? it's nice to meet you. I'm his older sister, Monophanie, and the host of this lovely event. Do you wish to take part in the event?"
"Mhm! It's nice to finally meet you! You're super pretty, too!" He smiles brightly. Seriously, he's kind of an angel when you interact with him. And unlike some of the others (Kaeya exclusively), he knows how to be a gentleman when flirting.
"Hehehe! You're just like Kokichi. No wonder Monodam likes you so much. Hehehe. Well if you're here to participate in the event, I have a few rules to go over. 1: no physical contact. 2: No bullying. 3: No swearing of any kind. This is a family friendly event after all. We don't want any fighting to happen."
He blushes. "Aww, we're not that alike!" He nods along with the rules. "Yep yep! Seems pretty self-explanatory!" Actually, he's a pretty touchy person, though, since that's how he expresses connection, so it'll be difficult for him.
"Ok then. Follow me to meet the participants. Just note that some of them might not be on their game right now. So lower your expectations, alright?"
"I only came with the expectation that they'll treat me well. Aside from that, everyone has something amazing to offer," Venti says, his optimistic outlook very much showing here. He doesn't discriminate, either! Men, women, non-binary, he can change sexes and forms at will... really, he's as free as a bird.
"Yeeeep. Very Kokichi-like." *Monophanie leads Venti onto the main stage, where a big table sat in the center. One on side he sees, a beauty woman with a large rake, a sexy blonde in a kimono, a sweet lady with a magic stick, a gothic vampire lady, a rich looking guy in yellow, a blue rockstar, a Mafia guy with an eye patch, and an average guy with purple hair. the latter 4 had their heads on the table and looking....no happy. Monophanie hands Venti a list of the participants names to him.*
He goes over to the guys, first, hoping to lift their spirits. "Hey! What's with the long faces? Would a song make you feel better?" he asks, manifesting his lyre in his hands.
*Monokid was the only one to somewhat turn his head towards Venti, mildly curious to hear him sing. Mildly.*
"A participant! I'll take it!" He grins and starts to strum the strings of his lyre, singing a melody with it. As he does, a gentle breeze starts to blow through the scene, seeming to resonate with Venti's own emotions. "Though you feel the journey's going harsher, there's no kingdom built within a day. In this kingdom's crown, you are the jewel, so go on, march on with all your strength!" he sings.
*Monokid slow looks at Venti, raising his head a bit more. His voice sounded soothing, gentle, warm to Monokid. Even Suke, Kabuto, Kuro, and the others couldn't help but look at Venti in awe.*
He notices their interest, flashing them a bright smile. "Nothing like being serenaded by a bard, huh?" he asks playfully. Please, he's so cute. And also really empathetic and kindhearted. What's not to love about him?
Event: Valentine's Speed Dating
*You were minding your own business, when you came across a stylish looking tent with the colors of Valentine's day all over it. There was a sign hanging above the entrance of the tent. It reads: 'Love-tastic Valentine's day Speed Dating! Hosted by Fashion queen Monophanie'. A valentine's speed date, huh? Sounds interesting. Before you could do anything else, someone comes out of the tent and greets you.*

Mildly.*

Aventurine came back to Mondstadt, holding onto a broken gem and finding a place to hide there, this was the only place he knew should be safe from the IPC and someone else, since he was told he could treat this as a second home he could come to.
@risking-it-all
Venti was on his way to the Dawn Winery where he normally played a few songs, and he was at first happy to have spotted Aventurine. He was about to invite him along, but when he sensed the state of his emotions, he dropped the lyre right where he stood and sprinted over to Aventurine, to hell with the lyre if his friend with in trouble.
"Woah, woah, woah... What happened? Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Venti asks, unused to seeing someone so composed in such a state. Even if Aventurine outwardly shows no signs of distress, wind is one of the many things associated with empathy. Call it a sixth sense or whatever, he could tell when someone needed support. Fortunately, since he wasn't actually close to the winery at this point, there was no one around to overhear them.
Aventurine had smiled upon seeing Venti again, giving a wave. "Hello friend, it's good to see you again." He chuckled lightly and stood up to groan a bit in pain. "Sorry, i came a bit unannounched, i guess you could say that. I made a big wager and i did something reckless." He opened his palms to show the broken gem but it shouldn't be his main concern yet he was treating the gem as if it was more important than his life wihen he gave a dejected expression. As if he was scared at what was going to happen to him now and by his previous short expression of pain he might be hiding wounds by not mentioning them.
"I thought this was a good as place as any to think about my strategy and i wanted to see how you were doing." It might be the last time he gets to, or at least it's what he believes, he gas been met with many unfair situations and he didn't know how to ask for help.
The bard's expression outwardly calmed, although he could practically smell the terror on Aventurine. Nevertheless, it would do no good to force him to speak, so instead, he'd wait to either find out himself or for Aventurine to open up. "It's great to see you, too!" he chirps up, trying to put on a happy face. After all, nobody who's frightened is soothed by seeing a worried expression, especially someone who prides themselves so much on his composure. Venti frowns slightly. "Your crystal? What happened to it?" he asks gently, giving the opportunity to either speak or say nothing. He didn't miss any sign of pain, either, but figured Aventurine will speak on his own time. As long as he's not actively dying, he's okay.
"Oh yeah? And what about you? You look exhausted," he says kindly, once again providing the opportunity to speak or vent, but only if that's what he wants. God or not, he will not force someone to discuss something that makes them uncomfortable. But secondarily, it's also an indirect offer of help, since he can read body language fairly well. He isn't the most mature person, but that doesn't mean he's ignorant of things like this.
"Happy to hear it. It's a nice place and it's peaceful here. A place i can relax." He seemed genuinely more relaxed here, a safer place maybe for him to be at currently. "Like i said, i made a big wager. One that wasn't very benefictial to my own situation, my crystal broke when i went back to my mission. It was all or nothing." He at least gave a bit of a hint that it wasn't good for himself.
He paused and sighed. "...I'm tired yes." He looked at the pieces of the crystal in his hand. "This crystal gives me extra power, given to me by Diamond and i broke it in a fight." He looked at Venti, he did catch onto the offer so he took a deep breath. "...I took on massive damage and maybe... I don't know what will happen."
"Well, of course! The winds are nice and calm here, and the temperature is just right... Lord Barbatos must be most pleased with your arrival!" he says in a playful manner, trying to put Aventurine at ease with bose his gentle jest and the notion of welcome, even if it had to be stated as someone presumably other than himself. "What does the crystal breaking mean? It's a bad thing, I'm sure?" he asks, not pressing for details.
"Right, let's get you somewhere safe then! My cottage isn't far!" Most of Mondstadt lives in those really archaic cottage-like homes that you'd see in medieval Germany, fitting for it being based on Germany. "A fight? You don't seem like the kind of person who gets hurt easily..." he says softly, an undertone of audible concern in his voice. He'll be there to protect Aventurine as long as he's in Teyvat, of course, but he also doesn't want Aventurine to do something to get hurt. "Are you injured?" he finally asks.
