Deviation from what I normally post but I like need to nerd out a bit about how good of a year for early access gaming (at least for me) it has felt like. Like we really got White Knuckle, Slay the Spire 2, Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, Subnautica 2 and Deadlock in the same fucking year like that’s crazy!!!

was thinking about making an hdg OC (that totally isn’t a self insert) while i was working here’s a rough backstory for her

—> depressed asf

—> develops tech to copy her consciousness to be rid of her physical form

—> Terran Accord catches wind of this and steals her away not to use the tech but to use her

—> consciousness is placed inside a terran ship

—> feralist crew (except the captain) is told and under the assumption she is just another AI

—> spend months stuck inside the ship’s codebase forced to comply with feralist protocols otherwise the captain will “delete” her

—> ship’s crew is captured by the Affini and will be forcibly domesticated

—> she manages to get access to comms right before the affini rescue ship leaves and is able to send a transmission to the Affini ship

—> her consciousness is transferred onto the affini ship where she then lives on to do/be whatever

no idea if I’d actually write about this since i have no idea how to actually write Affini and such but if anybody has advice or tips or would wanna help me out my dms are open

Edit: as a note I don’t normally express like a desire to make art or even be creative whatsoever and this is part of my journey to try and heal
