Reminder that spring will always come back, music will never stop being created, and there are still so many books left to read! You’re alive! You’re alive! You’re alive!
What if we win?
What if the children go to schools unafraid of tear gas and bullets?
What if the birds come back, and the bees are healed, and every species moves from endangered, to threatened, to thriving?
What if the rainforest ADVANCES?
What if every parking lot had solar panels? What if every structure had solar panels? What if we built climbing gyms and terraced gardens in the skeletons of old coal power plants?
What if you baked your neighbor bread, and they shared their home-grown blackberries?
What if every person who needed a home, had one? What if every person who needed healing was healed?
What if every body was treasured for what it was, not what it should be?
What if every trans child's parents attended their graduation, their wedding, their new-name-day?
What if every warehouse became a closed-circle repair station? Goods flowing out, and back, and out again? What if landfills started to SHRINK?
What if the water and air were clean? What if there was enough public transit that the cars dwindled, leaving the streets safe for kids on bikes, evening deer, midnight cats and foxes?
What if we win?
How would you win?

Saw someone say that the deleted scene of Naim getting bullied by Ryan should have been included because it made Naim outing Ryan make sense but like NO.
Why do people keep trying to justify or search for why Naim told the adults about Ryan and Hunter? Like have we considered he's young and stupid? And that's it. I like it so much more without the bullying scene and not just because I'm tired of Bully to Lovers or all Bullys are secretly gay troupe. But also I think it shows just how young and naive Naim is he trusted that the adults would have their best interest in heart even if misplaced he didn't understand the level of hate and pain the adults were willing to inflict on Hunter and Ryan hiding behind their religion and warped morlas. His innocence and trust is shown again and again in the film first with the pastor, then with the police, and finally with his mom. And every single time he was let down.
And that's the reality of homophobia sometimes it just doesn't make sense and that's what makes it all the more scary.

Supergirl 2026 CHANGED me, please don't listen to assholes online who tell you not to see it. Especially if you're a girl or a young woman- this movie is for you.

Hello,
I am Jaafar from Gaza. I am currently in northern Gaza, and we have not yet been displaced to the south. Things are very difficult here — the cost of moving to the south is $1,000, and a single tent also costs $1,000, if we can even find a place in southern Gaza. The south is overcrowded, and renting a plot of land costs $1,000 per month, or even more depending on the area. 🙂😢
I started a donation campaign in the middle of the war and received good support, but due to personal circumstances, I recently created a new link, and unfortunately, I have only received a small amount of donations so far. 😓💔 I appeal to you to help me with my new campaign and donate whatever you can 🥺😭. Every amount you give will save the lives of my family and me and may help us cover the cost of moving to southern Gaza! 😓 Thank you, and I pray that God blesses you and provides for you 🧡🫂
Here is the donation link ⬇️**

a detail that has stood out to me since i watched leviticus is the clothing choices that ryanaim wears at the mill. (at lot of what i say will be quoting joe and stacy in interviews talking about their characters btw.)
when we first see ryan and naim at the mill, their outfits, along with all the other things happening in the film, establish their characters pretty quickly. naim, wearing baggy clothes, hides his figure, meaning that he hides who he is out of mistrust and fear of opening up to other people, as joe described him. ryan on the other, is wearing jeans and a blue tank top (blue representing traditional masculinity) that shows off his biceps, as a part of his masculine facade that he upholds around naim that stacy described. those are the impressions that we get from them in the very beginning of the movie, and those characteristics are also shown in their dialogue and physical behaviors as well.
the second time we see them at the mill, their clothes are still somewhat similar, but are very different. ryan is still wearing blue, but his outfit is comfortable(?) perhaps. he’s not showing off his biceps and he’s not roughhousing with naim in order be romantic with him. it symbolizes that he doesn’t need to pretend or hide who he truly is, at least from naim (even though he is covering his body). naim, on the other hand, is still wearing baggy clothes but we see more skin (his arms and legs), naim is still mistrustful of others but not as much with ryan. he feels like he can open up to ryan, which we see him do in the second mill scene.
there are so many details from this movie that are brilliantly demonstrated in this film that other people have pointed out and i wanted to throw in my two cents as well because there are so many things about this film that make it such a beautiful story. adrian, joe, and stacy need ALL the awards.
i love when michael jackson whimpers reblog if you agree
i have a lot of mixed feelings about hearing the deleted scenes from leviticus regarding hunter and ryan being bullies.
i will say that if they kept those scenes in, it would make sense as to why naim outed them to hunter’s father. i get why he would be upset seeing hunter and ryan make out in ryan’s backyard but i don’t know if i would be upset enough to out those people to their homophobic parents.
on the other hand, if they had kept those scenes in, i would have been very upset. first of all, i have trauma when it comes to bullying because i was bullied in elementary school, so i never like seeing that stuff on screen. therefore, i also hate the bully x victim romance trope because why the FUCK would i wanna date someone that used to make my life a living hell and made me feel bad about myself? even if they changed for the better, it will never make sense in my eyes. i would be a ryanaim hater.
also, i just don’t think it would made sense storytelling wise. if hunter and ryan bullied naim, why would he be so concerned about both of them after the ritual was complete? why would he check up on both of them and ask them how they are feeling individually? why would he feel the need to investigate what is happening to them? why would he want to go to the mill with ryan not once but twice and let ryan kiss him? why would naim still want to be romantically involved with ryan to the point where he would let ryan (or entity ryan) make out with him and give him a handjob on a public bus? why would he run away with him? if i was naim and i was new, and two people that bullied me were all of a suddenly stopped because of something horrific, i wouldn’t be doing all that.
to be clear, i would never say it was justified that they had the ritual performed on them, or that they deserved it. even if we did see them bully naim on screen i would still feel very bad for them as naim would have. but for me personally, if the bad shit keeps you away from me, im fine.
BUTTTTT im glad we didn’t see it in the film, im glad ryan and hunter weren’t full on bullies, just two boys growing up with the pressure and fear of repressing who they truly, which leads to the annoying and unnecessary macho stuff (teasing, stone throwing, etc). it made me have more sympathy for them and fairly see their complexities as characters. and im happy i have new ship to obsess over and see edits of.
(pls dont attack me in the comments, this was just my opinion and im a little nervous to put my personal thoughts on here😖)
