Purity culture genuinely pisses me off so bad because why did I actually see someone complaining about sex being sexual...? "sex used to be about romance and intimate connection not lust" no women just used to not be allowed to talk about sexual desires publicly. If anything there's probably more romantic and intimate sex happening now that women actually get to choose who they sleep with.

They said it as a "maybe I'm too woke" take which is even more confusing because. No. No saying that you don't want people to have the freedom to use their bodies however they want is not woke, it's the exact opposite actually. Not only that but what about aromantic people?
