The Chaotic Good System 🌟

system introduction:

Hi all, we’re an OSDDID system of 160+ parts (undiagnosed, but working on getting evaluated). Collectively we go by any of the host’s names/ pronouns or the body’s name, Ellie, and use she/he/they pronouns. Bodily we’re 29 years old and white. In addition to our dissociative disorder, we have Autism, ADHD, and CPTSD. We identify as queer collectively, with many parts also identifying as trans or nonbinary. We enjoy creative pursuits whether that be writing fiction or poetry, songwriting, or making art in various mediums. Most importantly, we are cat mom to a beloved fluffy black tornado.

what to expect:

As you can probably guess, our blog is mostly going to focus on our mental health diagnoses, neurodivergence, and queer identities in hopes to find online community with those of similar experience. I can guarantee that depending on who is fronting, the quality, quantity, and frequency of posts can vastly differ. It’s very unlikely we will interact with let alone post any NSFW content, but if we do we’ll be sure to add content warnings, etc.

Chronic illness sucks because you’ll catch yourself thinking shit like ‘I wish it was possible to bathe regularly’ or ‘they should invent a digestive system that doesn’t hurt’ and then realise… that’s actually the case for most people. That’s the norm. Not only do most people have that, they don’t even think about it

it’s a series of negotiations you make with yourself over your whole life. it’s making one less self-deprecating joke. it’s looking at yourself in the mirror with a little more generosity. it’s forgiving yourself for that little mistake.

it’s not one thing and then you’re good. it’s many small choices you can make that slowly make your brain and body a little less uncomfortable to live with
