Do you live under a rock? Parents hitting their children for talking back is normal. Society allows parents to abuse their children because children are considered the property of their parents.

But instead of calling out an abusive pattern that society normalizes, you blame mental illness. You pretend that parents as a whole would never abuse their children even though they openly brag about it.
