maybe this is an overly charitable reading but to me the character of carol starts out as âit would be funny if eric dressed up as a fat girlâ but becomes more of an appreciation. like the carol and mr henderson bit starts out as weird funny pervert HR violation but it becomes more of a genuine sweet love story to me like the end of their second sketch is sweet T_T and then they have a cute park date where theyâre freaks together. and then nothing bad happens after :) but point being they are weird freaks together and they love each other and itâs sweet. and part of that to me is that carol is fat and therefore societally rejected and conventionally unattractive but she does find sweet beautiful love and i think thatâs awesome. and as a sidebar they dress her up so cute and i forget sheâs just eric sometimes bc i kind of really love her T_T sheâs super hella cute.
