Everything that we do burns calories. The energy required to form thoughts, breath in air, move your mouth and speak will all burn calories. Simply being alive burns calories - The only way that you would stop using energy is by dying.
If you sit and make excuses for an hour? The average person will burn over 100 calories.
Besides - Talking about our problems and working through the reasons why we don’t want to engage in a specific activity is one method of coping. It’s a way to release steam, work towards finding solutions, share our emotional state with others and talking through our issues. Talking about your “excuses” isn’t inherently a bad thing. If you don’t enjoy sitting around and listening to someone else reason through their decision-making process, then don’t. But don’t blame them for trying to share their feelings with you or for trying to explain themselves. Not everyone is trying to work towards a tangible solution - Sometimes, voicing our reasons is the solution and it’s a valid method of helping us feel better.
No one is obligated to exercise, after all. There is absolutely no reason why everything we do needs to be centered around the goal of burning calories. If anyone feels like they have valid reasons for choosing not to, it isn’t out place to look down on them. Sickness, lack of energy, lack of interest - Those are all real, and they’re okay.
“With patience, practice, and time, change will come.”

Now that we’re stuck inside it’s time to bake! First up is a classic banana bread. So cozy with a glass of milk or with your morning brew☕️ More recipes on my IG @marias.vegan.munchies
Bake at 350 F for 1 hour in a loaf tin. Make sure you let it cool down before cutting into it.
Back on keto! Dinner for tonight was delicious
The days are different. Sometimes I wake up in a struggle from a restless night, others I wake up with a small smile. I’m taking what positive I can each day, but today is difficult. I went to the gym, busted my behind & lost myself to my breathing while lifting. Legion, we’ve got this. 💪🏼❤️
