I don't like when I get lowkirkuinely watersportsed on for not liking those gosh darn Nico di Angelo adventures books. Why. Why can I not be enraged at Rick Riordan ragebaiting me? I am going insane. I do not care if Nico is "healing", I want him to heal in some other way that is not. Whatever the Hades he's doing. He gets some stupid White Bread Epilogue Boyfriend, gets a trilogy written worse than an eleven year old's Gravity Falls x Twilight AU from 2018, gets a bunch of angst shoved onto him by PJOTok, and he doesn't even get to be a My Chemical Romance fan. It is unfair. It is cruel and unjust. I've witnessed more people call Nico a Swiftie than a fan of actual emo music. It ticks me off. If I were Nico di Angelo, I'd do some ShiftTok bullshit and slime the entire fandom at this point. I feel like a grandpa. I feel unc. I feel like a loser hating on a book series made for kids. But it was made for representation! Now it's representing little gay emo teenage boys trusting monsters! Noooo little Italian boy don't post on Whisper! I'm never reading a new Percy Jackson book. Unless Rick brings Jason back then I'd buy like five copies of. Whenever that happens.
