hi hello, ideas have been hitting me lately and i have like 32 drafts and i need to clean my shit up so im here. my acc have been semi-centered around david and angel since the start so i thought it'd be fitting to talk about these lovely fashion icons and give my own spin on them in the actor au. just completely for self indulgence, not my best work but meh
✩ oh when i tell you, these two were LOCKED THE FUCK IN the first time they skyrocketed. every red carpet, everyinterview, everywhere, they were with each other. partly for pr, and partly because it's genuinely easier that way. not only did the internet discover that their were perfect together, so did they. they just clicked, y'know?
✩ everyone's speculating that they're in a relationshipbut both of them are media trained so well that no interview has ever gotten a clear yes or no answer whenever they ask, other than them dodging it with a joke like "oh, no yeah we're committed to our relationship.. with our characters, that is"then laughing their ass off together about it.
during their first press tour, one —of many reporters, kept asking if there's really anything behind the scenes that the fans don't know about? milo, tired but amused, answered "we won't confirm nor deny anything." sweetheart laughs and follows with a "yeah, that's our new motto."
now it's practically part of their whole brand whenever they're with each other. if you look close enough on any pictures of them together, you'd spot at least one matching jewelry but they NEVER say anything about it; they'd post separate pictures that are so obviously in the same location; when someone asked milo about the necklace that suspiciously replicated the same designs sweetheart wore a few months back, they're just hit with a "oh this old thing? borrowed it from a friend."
✩ sweetheart is always on top of milo's mind. at carpets where he knows sweetheart is invited in: first thing he does —after he's done serving cunt while hoards of people scream at his face and tries to take a picture with him by grabbing the air as if it would magically pull him into them— is to look for where sweetheart is by asking his manager where they are, which gets followed up by a milo, we have bigger fish to fry, or by ending an interview by saying he needs to go and find sweetheart or else "i wouldn't be able to handle the whole night" without them by his side.
✩ milo, as an a-list actor, is known for his professionalism, how he nails any script given to him, and how most of the time he rarely needs to reshoot scenes on-set. but for just some reason, whenever he has a kiss scene about to happen with sweetheart, thats when he starts fumbling and stutter his lines —AFTER they already kissed, so the crew has to reshoot it again and he has an excuse to stick his tongue down sweetheart 's throat again. dare i say desperate.
✩ during their first ever chemistry read together (and the first time they met each other) sweetheart was the only one milo really clicked with. the casting directors were deadset to have miloon the movie as one of the major characters, and so there were many trial and errors, but once sweetheart walked in, both of them matched each other's personality, became so comfortable with each other, and delivered all the lines given to them smoothly. then boom, the rest is history.
✩ their first ever movie was for a romance, drama, and comedy movie. sweetheart played the role of a migrating domestic helper aiming to save enough money in order to fly to canada and get a better job by partaking in multiple side hustles that violates her work permit. while working illegally as a tout in a bar, milo, who plays a bartender, notices and gives her a few drinks —to which sweetheart did not even acknowledge— they saw police officers inspecting foreign workers, until sweetheart pulled milo by his collar and kissed him to distract the cops.
✩ the start of sweetheart 's career was just them being an extra with little to no lines at all. you'd see them literally EVERYWHERE. they were present in whatever category of movie you'll watch. one moment they're the nonchalant cashier of the local grocery store of a sitcom, then next they're screaming bloody murder in a slasher while getting their limbs bent in ways you couldn't imagine.
eventually after multiple years of being starred as the character that just stands and nods behind whatever the actor in front of them is saying —that will probably, or probably not, even get their name to be shown in the end credits— they finally got a semi-major role; which resulted in them making half of the actors and crew cry in the epilogue scene that was only supposed to be 2-3 takes.
and that was the moment they solidified their place. after that brief taste of finally being known because of your talents, offers slowly made its way towards them: getting supporting roles, and invitation to big events.
sweetheart didn't blow up overnight, they patiently claimed their way up. and that'll be one in the thousands of things milo admires about them.
✩ but milo was also everywhere, just not in the way sweetheart was. while you'd need to take you time to look for sweetheart, you'll literally see this man in multiple posters in any direction. child-actor-turned-teen-idol.
after multiple meet-and-greets, and cliche scripts that made him cringe just reading it, let alone acting it— he took a shot in the dark and started auditioning at films that didnt "fit" his brand. darker films, more mature themes, smaller projects, independent directors.
then he landed a script that he felt comfortable with, ended up with sweetheart, and a changed tone. unlike his past as the hotshot love interest that teases on or off the camera, his recent films after his inital first with sweetheart had more soul, more emotion, and became more genuine.
✩ you already know the airport fits are gas asf. or even outside the airport. sweetheart and milo give me off as a couple who looks like the epitome of expensive with almost zero efforts. sometimes they wont even need a stylist. they've definitely made one or two fashion trends.
✩ one time when sweetheart was busy answering questions for an interview inside their trailer for a behind-the-scenes sneak peak while filming one of their movies together;
mid-convo, milo walked in, "hey swee'heart, d'you see my hoodie? the one with the re—oh."
he was met with panel lights, cameras in different directions, and several faces looking at him along with a smiling sweetheart holding a tiny mic.
an awkward chuckle came out.
is it really that cold in here?
sweetheart cleared their throat, "... anyways, yeah overall it was just fun working with everyone and the direc..."
✩ every time sweetheart is overwhelmed in an event, all it takes is a knowing look from a mile away and milo knows to sneak his way to them and let them wrap their arms on his and walk together. sometimes if they are already walking together, if he senses their nervousness he grabs their hand without second guessing. without even any words, he manages to read them like a book just based on their mannerisms, and for sweetheart, that'll always be their most favourite part of milo.
✩ in every interview, they sit so close with each other, probably even a little too close to be honest. milo quietly drapes an arm on the back of sweetheart's chair, and sweetheart instinctively leans into him, even if it's just a little bit.
some people might recognize their first film, i based it off from a filipino movie titled "hello, love, goodbye" (amazing movie btw). since the film had a sentimental and romantic tone, i thought it would be fitting. i felt like a movie with a script like that would be a factor on how milo and sweetheart's first time working together made them much more close, even after the production had ended.
