NATURE AESTHETICS.
bold the natural aesthetics that appeal to / apply to your muse. Â repost, do not reblog. feel free to add any natural features you see fit !
fluffy white nimbus clouds. dark grey cumulonimbus clouds. rain clouds. a hurricane. light spring breeze. a sherbet-colored sky at sunrise. hazy yellow skies. deep blue ponds of fresh water. blankets of sparkling snow. tornado winds. monsoon flooding. rich, orange sunsets. soft, purple clouds at dusk. heavy hail. the rumbling of thunder.
icy sleet. gentle snowfall. moss-dusted tree bark. pink sunset clouds. grey winter skies. navy blue skies in the daytime. cool mist in the morning. leaf-bare trees. giant ocean waves. the full moon. a cracked, dry desert. rolling hills of prairie grass. sweeping waves of briny seawater. rocky, steep ravines. rippling canyon walls. spindly, cave stalactites. creeping, green ivy. lush canopies of leafy trees. dense, white fog. a peaceful creek of clear water.
flowering cacti dusted with dew, catching light in the morning sun. a bubbling, hot pool of volcanic sulfur. sharp, grey mountainsides. fossils nestled in chunks of rock. a white sand beach. deep imprints of animal tracks in the dirt. soft, squishy moss. uniform rows of birch trees in winter. delicate mushrooms popping up in spring from beneath the decay on the forest floor. tumbleweeds jerking in the faintest wind across the desert landscape. light rain.
summer wildfires. a mixing of hot and cool air before a storm. silent lightning in the static of summer heat. a windy blizzard. thick flakes of snow tumbling down from the sky. a tree standing alone in a barren. yellow field. a desert of loose sand and tall, orange dunes. a pure blue sky. a river of molten rock. a grove of flowering trees. twisting, mangled roots sticking up from the muddy ground.
bitter, cold winds. tumultuous skies of stormy clouds. branches of lightning ripping across the sky. a foggy swamp. the tree-bare foothills of a mountain range. sandy brown cliff sides. rocky coastlines. the violent shaking of an earthquake. the mysterious sound of ethereal trumpets in the sky. the lights of the auroras borealis and australis.
a black sand beach. a lone tropical island in the reef of shallow, aqua waters. underwater volcanic vents. a herd of migrating mammals. tree branches growing heavy with ripe fruit. light streaming down through the clouds. a field of lush grain wading peacefully in the summer breeze. the sound of insects and frogs teeming in the night. natural diamonds nestled in coarse desert sands. a frozen lake.

Her youngest daughter had informed her of Tintaâs recovery, bringing with her a great relief, knowing that whatever illness heâd had, was now gone. Though sheâd been unable to find a cure, and thus wouldnât know what to do if the illness ever returned, she found herself feeling no dread. Instead, sheâd made haste to the little devilâs studio, wanting nothing more than to see and hold her son, again.
As she made her way through the broken down, inky halls, however, she began picking up the sense of another presence--there was, of course, Tinta..as well as Blanca, somewhere..but there was a foreign presence, as well. A soul she didnât recognize; the most she could tell was that it appeared to be of human essence. Sheâd also noted this foreign soul was very near Tinta, and was creeping closer to him as the seconds passed. Frowning to herself at the suspicious feeling she got, her pace quickened, steadily breaking faster as she began hearing distressed sounds from the little devil, the distant speaking of a man, and her sonâs hissing.
âIâm surprised youâre not trying to kill me again. You tried once, and then another time. But now, youâre just adoring me... Why canât you let me love you?â A low hiss of her own rips through the air, a simple dagger being summoned and thrown sharply in the direction of the man now kneeling and reaching out for Tinta, landing in the wooden floor mere inches beside him--a warning shot, if one could call it that. In her other hand was summoned her scythe, her grip tight on the hilt as she draws closer.
âAnd just what do you think youâre doing with my son?â
@doodleddrollery from here!
âI-Iâm glad to hear it.. M..Mama and I were r-really worried..â
Sheâd have to be sure to get home quickly and tell her mother the good news, after her visit.. The fallen was likely still fretting over him, trying to think of how to help him, should he not yet be cured..
A hint of pink stains her cheeks at his comment, and she gives a quiet chuckle. She did try her best to be kind where she could, despite being a demon--it wasnât like she was able to really threaten anyone, or hold up to it.. Perhaps it was pathetic, for someone of her kind to be so meek, but all efforts to change herself thus far had ended in failure.
âThatâs probably a g-good thing, haha.. Iâve never been that great of a f-fighter, anyway.. Ah, you..you wonât go looking for a fight, though, will you? A-Are you back up to full strength? Whatever you end up d-doing just..just be careful, o-okay?â

Reblog If Your Muse Gets Jealous
doodleddrollery :
[-The toon paused, this was someone neither the host or the virus knew, but she seemed to know the body so confusion soon turned into a large grin.-]
âFeelinâ totes radical as always.  Am I stillâŠ.what?  Still a cool dude, check.  Still kickinâ it right?  Checka-mundo.â
[-He looked through the glasses he had justâŠone day showed up in, along with all the rest of hisâŠinteresting outfit..  One eye having a strange coloration of a ring of yellow and a ring of red that justâŠ..didnât look like it was his eye, almost like it was sunken in some.  The other eye had long since been covered by the ink dripping from his head.  No matter what the parasite tried to do, the face still showed some level of discomfort due to the ink pouring from him.-]
[-But this one was a lot more durable than his other hosts, and he was determined to keep it that way.-]
It was probably a bit of a stretch to say she knew him. She certainly knew of him, through things her mother had told her about him--the same going for Blanca--and she had peeked in once or twice from afar..but this was her first real meeting with the little devil. Her brow raises in response to the way he speaks--ah, she..hadnât exactly prepared to hear those kinds of words..she hasnât heard anyone speak like that since one of her younger siblings tried to pick it up twenty years ago.. âAm I still....what?â and she frowns..it seems he didnât quite pick up on what she was trying to say.Â
âW-Well it..itâs just.. Mama was saying you..y-you caught some sort of virus..o-or something..and sheâs been trying to figure out how to cure it, but..she hasnât been able to find anyone who knows very much about it.. Or..a-anything at all.. B..Based on what she said, though..it..seems like you still have it..â
Itâs rude to stare--she knows that..but she attempts to study what portion of his face that she can. She notes the ink dripping down one side of his face, and the discomfort his expression seemed to wear rang clearly to her. He surely wasnât feeling as âradicalâ as he claimed..
âA-Are you..hurting anywhere..? Did the virus give you a fever, or anything..? I..I studied a few healing spells from some of M-Miyuâs books, if you need me to use them..â
Even if she didnât know all of the symptoms his virus was giving him..if he was in pain, maybe..she could relieve him of some of it? There were a few lower tier spells for basic healing that she knew--they would cover anything minor..and they didnât require the use of a lot of energy. If it was anything major, though.. She did have one high-tier spell that she could use, but the risk that came with it could leave her unable to use it..
Sheâd taken note of her newest, younger siblingâs illness--and how suddenly it had arrived. Many of her siblings were now wary of him, and likely for good reason. Not only was it causing a..rather strange alteration to his personality, but nothing was actually known about this âvirusâ that he was being infected with--there was no telling if it was dangerous, or how easily it could be caught..
Still, if no one approached him to try and help him..there was no chance of him getting better, was there? Maybe..maybe if she could get some sort of understanding on what was actually happening in him, there could be a better chance of figuring a cure for him? Or perhaps..this wasnât a normal illness, and..something much different would have to be done..?
Taking a breath to steel her nerves, she approaches her toon sibling, crouching to better match his height..
âT-Tinta..? Hi, um..I..I was coming to..to check on you... H-How are you feeling..? Are you.. Are you still..yâknow..â freshly infected sick?
â...I see. You canât help me, either, then... Mmn. I understand. Thank you for your time.â
Hanging up the phone, Lillith sighs--that was the fourth doctor that didnât know anything about this âfresh virusâ Tinta had been infected with.. Normally, the doctors she trusted with these sorts of things at least held some vague knowledge about what was happening to her children..but this was one of the few times when things were different. Truly, this could be quickly fixed if she would just form a contract to hold Tintaâs soul. She could find from there what exactly this..infection was doing, and perhaps reverse it, but..that wasnât something she liked to do to her children. Having made a deal to lose her own..put it in a particular light, especially.
â...Gods above..how do I help him..?â
âFresh..virus?â
Sheâs never wanted to commit genocide on a faceless race more than she has now. What are they infecting her son with?
@hellfirefoolish
Though an island paradise wasnât exactly her idea of a good time, with the thought of peaceful beaches and friendly faces. Sheâd much rather stay with her children, using any of her free time to care for them, but..after much insisting from the eldest, sheâd agreed to go. Aa..if only a couple of them could have come with her, at least. Even if she didnât particularly care for her surroundings, she could think of many at home that would love the kid-friendly âhostsâ of the paradise.
Of course, once things had started getting a little more chaotic, her interest had certainly risen. She almost didnât mind that she seemed to have little access to her abilities, here. Already, multiple people had been captured and were forcibly chained to pillars, as per the âmotiveâ the Queen was using. Of course, they were still cared for, and thus..not exactly tortured, though not being able to move as you please might certainly make some uncomfortable.
It was one of the current captives that truly caught her eye, however. Sheâd noticed before that there seemed to be little living cartoons--some of whom sheâd had past experiences with. It was the ink-covered man that she finally approached--Sammy Lawrence. A soft sound rumbles gently from her throat, almost reminiscent to a purr, though it changes into a chuckle as she takes the final steps. Fingers curl and uncurl twice with a slight waving motion--the small wiggle she called a greeting wave.
âSammy Lawrence..â his name rolls off her tongue in a hushed tone. Ah, was she already giving a flirty gaze? What a trashy fallen angel... âItâs a pleasure to see you again, love, even if our reunion wasnât..quite how I imagined it to be. Outside of your current predicament, however, how has life been treating you--well, Iâd hope?
In response to this!
Being summoned to the main party room was annoying enough, on its own. What announcement could these âWardensâ have that was so important that they would have to--
She pauses at the sight of the children lined up along the stage, her heart sinking at the terrified expressions they wore. For a moment, sheâs reminded of her own children--those who are waiting for her outside, for their dearest mother to return safely from where sheâd disappeared. Perhaps it was for this reason that a rage boiled in her blood, her fingers clenching into fists and eyes narrowing. Though she wanted to believe it was nothing but an empty threat (since, from what she could see, this particular warden likely wasnât even fond of this idea), she wouldnât put it past them. So many of the other party goers had been springlock victims, thus far; why would they pull back on their threats, now?
âDespicable..â
The single word comes out as a hissed whisper, teeth gritting tightly together. They didnât have many choices left, now. They could either cowardly wait for a murder to occur, and watch these children potentially suffer--or they could swallow their own fears and take the life of another guest.Â
