i dont know how to articulate this well but some of you act like neurodiversity starts with adhd and ends with autism. you talk about "the neurodivergent experience" and everytime you mean "the overlapping experience of adhd and autism."
please remember us when talking about neurodiversity. ocd, dyslexia, dyscaculia, personality disorders, tourettes, intellectual disabilities, schizo-spec disorders, etc. all fall under neurodiversity.
please stop saying neurodivergent when you mean "autism and adhd."

Actor Jonathan Joss was just murdered for being gay and married to a trans man. On the first day of pride 2025. He was best known for playing John Redcorn on King of the Hill. He was proudly indigenous, often playing indigenous roles. He was Comanche and white mountain apache.
I had no idea he was gay but he was married to a trans man named Tristan Kern de Gonzales (on valentines day 2025!)
They lived in San Antonio Texas where his family is from and he grew up, originally in the house his father built in 1957. He was 59.
In Janurary 2025 his home was burned down which made news. It killed some of his beloved dogs. He didnt elaborate beyond he believed it was arson (gofundme is still up and i suggest donating to help his funeral costs and his husband

Now we know he and his husband had been threatened by several neighbors for being queer. They told pigs, pigs being pigs did nothing before or after it happened.

As they weeped and mourned in shock, a neighbor, Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, was sitting waiting with a shotgun on his porch. When yelled at he aimed at de Gonzales…but Joss jumped in front of the bullet and was almost instantly killed.
Ceja, homophobic murdering coward, tried to take off but de Gonzales had called pigs who vaguely tried to do something. He was arrested and his bail set for $200k. Or as my sister said who the fuck sets bail for a murderer?

Update day 2:
Its reported he and his husband called pigs once a day for half a year regarding threats and harassment. Many seem to think he stayed only because the house meant something, and while thats certainly a factor he likely couldnt afford to leave based on various interviews.
He acted erratically the last night before his murder, making extremely dark jokes and saying he was harassed for being gay during some king of the hill events.

He also joked that his ex wife had said no one would believe him because of his history of addiction and mental health issues.
Im not a doctor but i do have cptsd and his actions strongly sound like someone suffering from it. Abusers/harassers often hit people who wont be believed/wont be believed for the level of whats going on and it sounds like that to me.
His husband has stated he wants Joss’ work remembered. He also said anyone weaponizing his past issues to justify his death are not real fans or friends. One person justified the washed reporting as ‘well he had issues who knows’ never mind the information was coming from his husband who was there and is not known to have any mental health issues.
We take care of our own. I want Joss and his work to be remembered and his murderer brought to justice. Im hoping to see some beautiful fan art and mentions of him every pride…he is exactly why we cant give up fighting
The fact that people don't think friendship is enough to justify characters doing insane acts of love for each other baffles me. Like have you never loved your friend so so much you want to live in their ribcage. Have you never been really weird about a friend. i hate driving. here are the laws! if you break them there will be consequences! except youre also expected to break the law just a little bit. people will get mad at you if you dont. you dont have right of way but the person who does is waving you forward for some reason. here's the speed limit! it's not the speed limit, the actual speed limit is that plus ~5-10. the light is green but you're in the turning lane. can you go? should you have gone just then? the person behind you is honking at you. there's a weird noise coming from your engine; if you try to do the right thing and get it checked out, will you get scammed? you are driving a 1-2 ton metal machine rocketing at speeds unknown to humankind for most of history. around a million people die in car accidents every year; that's about one person every thirty seconds. if you take that seriously and try to drive safely then people get mad at you.
yes i do think transgender men have very specific experiences with transphobia. yes i think we deserve spaces to talk about it. yes i think in some aspects we get talked over and have our experiences downplayed in the trans community. No i dont think "transandrophobia" is a good word for any of that and you're being embarrassing by dying on that hill
