I felt like Sylvester forgave him too fast. I mean yes, his father apologised, but sometimes that‘s not enough. A simple „I‘m sorry“ just doesn‘t cut it when you‘ve been neglectful towards your child for over a decade, which led to them having trauma and self esteem issues. Sylvester had every right to not forgive his father, but instead they made him forgive him after one conversation and an apology.
