I've always enjoyed seeing tropes turned on their heads and played with, so the fact that Dr. STONE actively turns so many villainous archetypes and character traits on their head has always been really special to me. Senku is a mad scientist with so little interest in romance he is a walking aro flag, but instead of viewing human life as irrelevant or only caring about the progression of science, his main goals and values in life revolve around humanity and the connections he makes. Gen is introduced as a manipulative bastard who only cares about what benefits him, but he constantly works towards community and is always the one most visibly affected by blood and death when not holding up a mask. Ryusui proclaims himself as the greediest person in existence, but uses that greed to be compassionate and help others. Nikki is introduced by punching Taiju in the face and seems to fall into the good=beautiful and evil=ugly and Brawn Hilda tropes, but is revealed to be sweet and a major part in conflict resolution. Amaryllis is a textbook fem fatale, if you replace 'hot' with 'cute,' literally planning a murder upon her introduction, but to try and get rid of corruption and save the other islanders. On and on it goes, ignoring cases like Taiju, who is the most stereotypical shounen protagonist a person can be, and yet, these 'evil' attributes aren't treated as terrible, but at times even celebrated. Because that's what the story's about. Humanity, in all its parts and pieces. And it's really nice being told not to be ashamed of your vices for once, so long as they are in control. That being said, I still hate Yo and Moz.

The real reason everyone wants to kill Senku is because they are in love with Gen, who is completely devoted to Senku and that just pisses them off.

Though Xeno and Stanley's reason is different, they just think Senku is too much of a gremlin for their precious son.

LCF modern/college/academy OgAlbeCale AU where Rok Soo and OgCale are cousins and, thinking OgCale is a little too lonely (like an hypocrite, but Rok Soo has friends now at least), he decides to answer a doubt Alberu had about OgCale truthfully.

His plan was "these two actually have plenty in common and their personalities seem quite compatible. They both could use another friend. And then I'll have more time for myself." Which, he meant for them to exrcise and go out together and invite each other to their outdoor activities instead of himself.

And he was right. Too right.

Instead of the friendly platonic bond he expected them to form, they form a very much not platonic whatever that makes the air around them all pink and sweet whenever they lock eyes. It's disgusting. Why is Alberu eating his cousin with his eyes? (He was staring at his face, pinning. OgCale also does that. Rok Soo is just biased) This is the worst. (They would beg to differ)

He keeps cockblocking them because no one is allowed to creep on his cousin, not even Alberu. (He wasn't creeping on him. Rok Soo is just too protective)

Rok Soo: why are you taking my cousin to the movies?

Alberu: I thought you wanted us to hangout?

Rok Soo: Yes. So you two would annoy each other and let me slack— not so you would put your tongue down my cousin's throat!

Alberu: Well, your cousin has a really beautiful throat! Not that the rest of him isn't beautiful in any way. Especially when he laughs. Have you seen how his eyes narrow a little and his irises beam? *Sighs*

Rok Soo: Ugh. You fucking— *covers his face with cushion*

OgCale, just arriving: *smiles* Al, I'm ready *notices Rok Soo* what's up with him?

Alberu, with zero remorse: beats me. *Offers OgCale a hand* shall we?

OgCale: *giggles* You're so sweet.

Eventually Rok Soo gets over it, but he still almost chases Alberu through the halls when he catches them shamelessly making out (they were just kissing) behind a tree (they really were just kissing, but they wanted privacy. Alberu is a reserved person and OgCale can be a bit shy sometimes).

He fully accepts one of his scam buddies and his most kind cousin (again, he is biased) are dating when he realizes Alberu is an effective creep deterrent. The seemingly kind and charismatic crown prince popping out of nowhere to glare at anyone who dares to make unsavory comments about Cale The Lout is more scary than it should be. Maybe because Alberu generally is seen with a polite smile in public no matter what.

On another note, after realizing how often people say stuff about OgCale that by all means should count as sexually harassment, a group of students adopt him as one of them. They're usually really chill, but it all happens so fast that OgCale himself is confused at how, why or when this happened. The answer is: a pair of them get really worked up about harassment and checking on OgCale was the fastest way prevent them from potentially committing a crime, then they ended up liking him so they just decided he was their friend now, no takebacks.

On another-another note, Eric, Amiru and Gilbert are seen later on hunting down the same people Alberu scared to death.

I love the image of a Rok Soo—tired of being dragged around by Cale and Alberu—deciding to introduce the two so they’d become friends and leave him alone to be a slacker, only to end up having to deal with the eternal Albecale honeymoon phase because he never considered the possibility of them falling in love. I can easily picture him sitting sulkily in a corner, lamenting all his life choices, while Cale and Alberu chat sweetly nearby, full of lovestruck gazes, blushing faces, and a seemingly perpetual pink filter of hearts surrounding them.

Rok Soo watches in horror yet another overly sappy encounter (one he swears could give diabetes to anyone standing nearby long enough) between his cousin and his friend, with hearts and glitter seemingly floating in the air: Oh God, what have I done??

Rok Soo, after seeing the OgAlbeCale effect for the first time: I told you to talk with my cousin, not to go and fuck my cousin!

Alberu, honestly offended: I haven't fuck him yet! We barely had had our first date— do you really think Cale is one-night stand material? Of course not. Do you think I would jump straight to sexual intercourse with him?! No! That man deserves to be properly wooed, Rok Soo! And how do you know I would be the one doing the fucking? Is it because I'm taller? That's a stereotype, you know? It could be the other way around. Maybe he wants to be the one doing the fucking. Maybe we'll turn— *gets thrown a yarnball at his face*

Rok Soo: Oh for fucks sakes, shut up. Stop talking about your sexual life with my cousin.

Alberu: We don't have one yet! We're both virgins!

Eruhaben, who was just grading papers in the room nextdoor and ended up having to hear the whole conversation: *sighs in tired parent* every week I question why on earth I took this job.

Rok Soo: —it better stay like that. I don't want you to corrupt my cousin.

Alberu: is this because I'm a dark elf?—

Rok Soo, immediately more calm: *puts a hand on his shoulder* not because you're a dark elf, none of our friends or Cale would think any less of you for being a dark elf.

Alberu: ...Thanks. For a moment I forgot who I was talking with.— *suddenly hopeful* hold on you really think he wouldn't mind?

Rok Soo: Not at all— wait. *Serious again* you still can't fuck my cousin. Or date him or whatever. You're a terrible influence for him— what if he gets your glib tongue habits? He has enough people oogling him without him showering people in compliments like they were candies.

Alberu: You also have a glib tongue! And it's ridiculous you think he'll get my habit of praising people to distract them just because we date instead of being just friends—

Rok Soo: It's not. People tend to obtain their partner's habits— it's a fact. My parents copy each other habits all the time!

Alberu: Friends also do that. Besides, how do you know I won't get his habit of insulting people at their face? *Smiles* He always does it so effortlessly and graceful. Actually *opens the door* maybe I should go kiss him now and see what happens first. It'd be an interesting experiment— *leaves while humming happily*

Rok Soo: ...Did I convince him to go makeout with my cousin? That was not what I was aiming for.

Eruhaben, appearing through the door: To be precise, you made him consider his future potential sexual life, cleared up every doubt he might had had about starting a relationship, and then gave him a reason to, ah, "go makeout" with this cousin of yours.

Rok Soo: Ugh. *Facepalms*

Eruhaben: Now, mind to share the name of your cousin? There's a bet pool going on.

Rok Soo: ...

Eruhaben: I'll give you a part.

Rok Soo: I want half.

Eruhaben: Deal.

At other part of the campus,

Alberu: Cale! *takes OgCale's hand* would you follow me?

OgCale, not knowing what's going on but just happy to see Alberu: Sure!!

The other students, who saw Roan's crown prince, best in his year, and Cale "that rude guy" Henituse holding hands and bouncing merrily on their little pink world: ?!?!?!

OgCale was very happy about the side effects of that conversation.

Now they're also the type of couple who give each other kisses as greetings and goodbyes. Short, sweet kisses, but Rok Soo still thinks is too much.

Alberu was very happy about his relationship with OgCale being compared to Rok Soo's parents' relationship because, honestly, those three are goals. They're the sweetest, most healthy relationship he has seen adults in.

Rok Soo nearly having a nervous breakdown upon hearing about his cousin and best friend’s nonexistent sex life is a hilarious sight. And the fact that he goes out of his way to break them up, only to end up giving Alberu the best advice possible—as well as reassuring him that it’s perfectly fine for him to be a dark elf—which ends up bringing Albecale even closer together, is so typical of him.

Rok Soo realizing that he gave Alberu good advice about his relationship with Cale instead of managing to break them up: *internal screams of frustration* Eruhaben, who heard everything even though he didn’t want to get involved in this mess: You messed up, and I’m not getting paid enough to deal with this. Now you want me to help you make money off this so you don’t lose out completely? Rok Soo: Give me half, and I’ll help you. Eruhaben: Deal.

I also love the image of Cale and Alberu living out a rose-colored fairy-tale romance without caring who’s watching, while Rok Soo stands in the background dying a little more with every sappy gesture he’s forced to witness, knowing he’s directly responsible for his own misery.

It was hilarious but so weird because it was genuinely good. Also because, this? This is what they do in private?? They're so much sappier than anyone knows.

Rosalyn: I don't know what I expected from a relationship between two theatre kids. But it sure as hell wasn't this.

Soo Hyuk, who heard the whole story very invested: Damn... I'm so fucking jealous. I, too, want an actor partner I can roleplay with.

After a little,

Then Rosalyn and Soo Hyuk become improve partners. No one knows if they're dating or just really into acting. (It is an acting thing. Ten years later they actually get together and no one believes them).

At one point they start roleplaying as OgAlbeCale to reenact whatever interaction they saw instead of normally retelling them.

Rok Soo screams. Jung Soo makes a face like he had eaten molten yogurt.

Jung Soo: one thing is when Cale and Alberu do this. Cale is a legendary beauty and Alberu is hot as fuck. But other thing is when you do it, hyung. It's gross— not you, Rosalyn-noona. You're beautiful.

Rosalyn: Thanks.

I had this idea for a long time, well not exactly that long but at least a week??? I just recently join the fandom here in kaiju no.8 and a big NaruHoshi fan and I hope someone write this. Okay so idea is that there are numbered users and they are connected to this kaiju or something right, and since it wasn't explained in the manga (i think???) It was said that it wasn't clear how they procreate or something.

So what if the kaiju's have a time where they specifically mate? Mate or just territorial, it can vary base on what the author want but my idea of this is where they want to have s*x to create more or to just protect their child and love ones and just nest. Just the possibilities is there.

Anddd this is where numbered users will come, and since they are connected to kaiju's this will make them want to mate or like be territorial with specific people or place and I just want to see it, maybe one day if I learn how to write maybe I'll make it?

Okay I'll shiw you a sample:

The idea is Narumi Gen, one of the numbered users in japan and just recently got accustomed to using No.1 still unsure how this mating and being territorial works. The first few years the Division 1 is at ease because Narumi is only showing signs of being territorial with the whole division 1 and with help from Shinomiya Isao, things are way smoother, they are also relieved that Narumi is not interested in things like love so he was easier to manage during the mating (season?) of the kaiju's.

This all change after the joint trainig session with all divisions, as the mating season approaches they notice how officer Narumi is starting to get aggitated, many reported him being seen in training grounds when he was usually hiding away in his room and just play his games.

Once the mating season started many was startled and was trying to stop Narumi from getting out of the base, because of this they found out that he met someone he like, enough to make him go out of his way to come out of his territotry to just search for the person. And thus, the start of the worst week (month??? It can depend on the intensity of their feeling or the stronger the kaiju the longer) of all the division 1.

After that, most of them -especially Isao and Hasegawa- is on high alert on every officer that Narumi interacts with other divisions. But seeing that Narumi acts still the same, they almost forgotten about it until it was the next mating season, coincidentally a meeting was onhoing therefor all of the Captains and Vice Captains of every division is at the Main base. This is where everyone (from Division 1) realize that the person Narumi like is none other the Vice Captain of the 3rd Division.

OKAY, that is all and now I don't know how to continue this. I hope someone will be inspired by this and write something about it, this have been plauging FOR YEARS (i'm dramatic and i know it)

Damian: I do not recall you having told us such significant news.

The whole family goes into chaos as Dick tries to explain that all his male friendships are very platonic and Tim misunderstood, and Tim walks out, still texting his boyfriend. Not giving a damn about the situation he created.

Jason, sympathetic: it’s tough, isn’t it? to go back to Bruce after Dick almost adopts you. i get it, kid. i do.

Damian: …are you saying you’ve been through the same thing?

Jason: oh, yeah. i mean- i mean Bruce wasn’t presumed dead at the time, but Dick did try to adopt me a bunch back when i was Robin, so it’s almost the same.

Damian: i don’t understand. why was he trying to adopt you if Father was around?

Jason: …i dunno. i think i made him laugh once and he just made the decision to steal me after that. kept trying to sneak me to Bludhaven and hide me in his apartment. Bruce had to leave work early a bunch so he could drive up and drag me out by the hood of my sweatshirt.

Jason: yeah the constant changing was weird… it was like being a child of divorce where your parents are actively fighting over who gets to have you. flattering, sure, but tiring after a while. you have no idea how many times i had to buy a new toothbrush because i left mine in a different city.

Damian: …could you not just choose who to stay with for yourself?

Jason: well, i tried. i got mad at Bruce and chose Dick at one point, but Dick was like, twenty years old. i went up to Bludhaven and found him living in a one-bed apartment with a mattress on the floor instead of a bed and a bench dragged in from the street instead of a couch. he was eating noodles out of a ceramic vase. so when Bruce came to get me again, i just let him win.

Damian:

Damian, baffled: i fear you and i are not experiencing even remotely similar situations.

Jason:

Jason: yeah i dunno why i started talking.

*awkward silence*

Jason: …want a beer?

Damian:
