Jon: Yeah. Damian not only sat through the entire game, he actually gave good commentary. We had to sit with the Goliaths fans since it's a Gotham home game and he's a Wayne, but I know I can drag him to becoming a Meteors soon.

Some fanfic writers will genuinely write Talia as an evil maniacal dictator who’d rip every hair on Damian’s head off as a nightly ritual and then say “I wrote her morally grey!” I fear you have never heard of a grey area ever

Firstly, Damian was originally written to have been given away; secondly, Damian is a perfectly nuanced character of both his father and his mother. He's a complex individual whom no one seems to care for anymore because apparently when characters get too complex, people love to complain and label them with basic terms to downsize their emotional complex.

Damian is proof their relationship could have worked; it's a taunt to both Bruce and Talia as though to say, 'Look at this; you could have had this with them. ' Mind you, Talia could have left LOA but prioritised Bruce's safety over her own when she got pregnant since he kept risking his life and Ra's would force him to become the heir. So that, my dear, dear friend, is another factor in how Damian helped develop that distinction in morals, where Talia could've gladly chosen to be free as she once wanted to but instead sacrificed herself for her lover.

And also the way Damian came out to be as an individual was a result of not having both his parents together, so your point doesnt make sense because if Talia chose happiness over safety, Damian would have been the happiest, normalest, little boy.

And also she never mistreated Dick, the new comments overexaggerate it so fans may dislike her more, Dick's beef is quite onesided, in the older comics he just didn't trust her because of her dad and constantly gave Bruce ultimatums like 'if you dont tell her to leave i'll leave' and Bruce would legit be like 'okay go' or 'you don't understand these things yet', Richard doesn't essentially hate Talia but is very distrusting towards her because of her lineage and he wants to protect Bruce, it's only in the newer comics it's all exaggerated because of m*orrison who ruined nearly every one of talia's dynamics with the majority of DC characters.

So therefore Brutalia should most definitely happen again, as it is one of the most complex relationship dynamics Batman has with a woman, his two most prized attributes, loyalty and love, being the reason he cannot be with the woman he loved.

So next time, and I say this respectfully because I don't want to argue, maybe, just maybe, fact-check and analyse the characters and their positions instead of spouting nonsensical 'opinions' that hold no regard for the depth of their relationship.
