I wanted to try something a bit new. IDK how i feel about not drawing things with 5 million different effects around it but- I'm happy with it.

Hopefully, I got their personalities right. Sure, yeah, I've read the comic(except for the recent updates since mothers day) but I'm always worried that I'll end up giving them 'fanon' personalities. Which, surprisingly enough, I haven't seen too much of that in this community. I'm also not a constant fanart consumer for this fandom, don't know why. Maybe I've just gotten lucky. Also, I don't know Shelly, like, at all. I only did the bare minimum of looking up what Dandy's world was due to this comic. So- I just tried to guess how'd she'd say the line. I’ve always been a big fan of J. C. Leyendecker’s illustrations, so this piece was my attempt at studying and drawing in his style😭🫶

Although my results are not as beautiful as the original one-thousandth, I still benefited a lot while researching and painting!!!
