Fishing isn’t really my thing. I love going out and hanging out in the boat. I grew up at camp and my dad and brothers loves fishing. I was never good at it. I never did have patience to fish. But TODAY!!! Today was so much fun. We caught 8 fish and kept 3. When you swipe right you will see the big one, yep that was me, i got that one. Woop Woop! It was quite the process to get to the spot we went today. Made me think about life. We didn’t just jump in our boat and go fishing. It was planning/preparing/fixing Friday night, woke up early this morning, packed, did the mom thing, launched the boat, had to drive then get out of the boat and drag our boat a cross the shallow water and THEN we got to our spot. It was like we were rewarded for all the effort we did today. ALSO, makes me think of all the people who DONT do the effort. Not many people fish here which means more fish for us. Makes me think about life... Made me think, if you want something in life, all you got to do is go take it. Go for it, plan, prep, fix, and do the thing you need to do to get there. You might need to get wet and get out of your boat and do a little pushing. It’s all about how much you want it. I find people are so full of doubt. If you just gave your head a shake and just started to believe and put some effort in your goal, YOU WILL GET THERE. People don’t want to work hard, people are lazy. People want instant gratification. Well sorry hunny, life doesn’t work like that. Oh, and when you decide to go on that adventure to attain what your looking for. You will go down roads you never thought were possible, you will grow into such a beautiful person, you will learn so many new skills, you will meet some beautiful people but yes, it won’t be easy. It will be hard but it will be worth it. You need to push through that fear, get wet and go for it. I believe in you. On another note? Don’t you just LOVE my fanny pack? Where would we be without family? Do you come from a big family? I come from a big family on both sides my mom and dad. Kris is also from a pretty big family. We are super close to Kris's family, I feel pretty lucky to be part of it. My family we don't really see each other much. I decided to organise an event where we can all hang out. Not everyone made it and that's ok. Life is busy. With everything with Kris's family, the funeral and everything. To be honest I didn't feel up to it, I kind of wanted to stay home and veg. We have had an insane busy couple of weeks. When we got to our airbnb and the cousins started to roll out. I remember the moment, I sat there and I felt totally blessed that all of us took this time to be together. It was so amazing to see all the kiddos playing together. I remembered to myself, see Anick every time you don't feel like doing something and you do it anyway you get rewarded. It's so true! Do you agree? It’s crazy how disconnected we are from each other. But yet we are more connected than ever before! We all want the same things in life. We want to be treated with love and respect. We want to feel connected. We all want to be successful ( happy). We all want the same things in life. Yet there’s so much seperation between humans. Why is that? Is it because we are all so hurting that we constantly hurt other people? Is it because we are projecting our own fears and hurt onto other people? Next time you are about to judge someone or lose your patience, remember that everyone has a story of pain. A story that you would go.. OMG! There’s so much hurt, pain and fear in the world we really need to try and be KIND. That’s how we can all make this world a better place. Just by being KIND. My mother once told me "kill em with kindness, Anick" I really took that to heart. I realize me being angry with people or the world, wasn’t making any difference. It wasn’t making this world a better place. It was making it worst, it was just bringing more pain, and anger into the world. As soon as you shift your thoughts, as soon as you start being the change, YOU WILL START TO SEE THE CHANGE! I promise you. Keep doing the work and I promise your whole outlook on life will change. You realize you can have anything you want in life right? You know you are powerful to make anything a reality? You understand that everything and anything is possible? The word IMPOSSIBLE means IM-POSSIBLE. Anything is possible, even the zombie apocalypse. Have you not seen the zombies stuck on their phones walking all over? It’s happening lol But seriously, the people who are doing great things, who dream BIG goals, WORK and WORK and WORK and FAIL and FAIL and FAIL and INVEST in themselves and INVEST money in learning and INVEST time and SACRIFICE that party weekend with WORK weekend. If you keep doing the same thing you have been doing then don’t expect different results. If you want something different in life you need to make different decisions. If you want more greatness in your life these are some of my tips. REMOVE ALL THE NEGATIVE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE. If they don’t fuel your soul, let them go. ALWAYS STAY POSITIVE- REGARDLESS OF THE SITUATION. There’s always a silver lining to everything in life. It’s up to you if you want to look for it. BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE HERE FOR A REASON. It’s not by accident that you were born. It’s not an accident that you are reading my post. YOU are incredibly powerful and the WORLD wants you here. Start shifting your thoughts that the world is WITH you not against you. LOOK FOR THE BEAUTY AROUND YOU. There’s so much LOVE & BEAUTY happening every second of your life. But most of the time we are too busy to look for it. We are too zombie’ish to realize it. MEDITATE- let your body HEAL ITSELF. How are you suppose to evolve/grow when you don’t allow your mind/body/soul connect and heal itself. DRINK LESS ALCOHOL- yep. I am a big believer in fasting and that our bodies are very sensitive. If you are drinking alcohol everyday, realize that you are not allowing your body to evolve. When I bite drinking of 15 months, my mind was the best it’s ever been. AFFIRMATIONS. It’s easy to be negative, it’s hard to stay positive. Therefore you need to start training your brain and a great way to do that are AFFIRMATIONS. This is Kris. He is my RIDE or DIE, partner for life. I can't wait to change my name to Perretta! I feel pretty lucky that you want to marry me. Cause I'm crazy. I seriously never thought I would be able to find someone that can deal with this. LOL I know you all LOVE me, but you don't LIVE with me and see everything I make him do. HAHA! He is pretty lucky too, yes. But.... I really did think I was never going to get married. Thought ya maybe get knock up, eventually... but married and be in a HAPPY relationship? No way. ( my parents might be the reason for this, lol) I am so glad that we reconnected after 11 years TO the DAY, NOV 5th is a special date for me. Kris doesn't really remember. We went for a hike, sat on a mountain and looked out into the world. Kris said, "since you have been back into my life, life has been amazing", I said..." oh it's not me, It's God" he then said " I think I am ready for the next step", which I assumed a relationship. LOL - I was pumped. Cause I was crushing hard on this gem. I have a video saying "Oh no, a blast from the past walked into my life and I think I am falling in love" Our relationship is NOT perfect. We fight, I've always been a fighter, Kris is more the LOVER. We have grown so much together. We have gone through so much together. It's crazy to think you can fall more and more in love with someone eh? Babe, there's NO one else in the world that can put up with me like you do. There's no one else that KNOWS me better than you. I just want to say thank you for always supporting me. Always allowing me to BE ME. For never making me feel bad for who I AM. For being so easy going with everything I put you through. For being the best Dad my daughter could ever have. Even thought she is totally ALL ABOUT MOM right now. lol Kris, you are the funniest person I know. You are hard working, you are all about family, you love adventures and you have the biggest heart. Thank you for putting a ring on it. Life is too short. You need to find something that makes your heart swell, in a good way. Sunday, I hosted an event for all my Scentsy family and kids. I know sometimes it's hard to participate to anything if you can't bring your kids. The day was beautiful, everyone brought food, the kids played in the water and everyone got along. I don't always have the chance to talk to everyone. Cause if you know me, you know I just don't stop and I just want to make sure everyone has everything they need. But I did have a couple of heart to hearts and that fuels me. REAL, DEEP, VULNERABLE conversations brings me to LIFE, brings me so much JOY. I actually REALLY enjoyed my self, I had the chance to sit down a few times, participated in the water fight. It was SO MUCH FUN! This Monday, feels a bit heavy. It's also a cloudy day and we had a very busy weekend, WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND. I find when you don't allow yourself to FEEL, it will creep up on you regardless. We NEED moments to FEEL. We recently lost an uncle, it's Kris's uncle. It's probably the closest person to me to pass away. I am very close to Kris' family. Sometimes I feel bad that I am grieving cause it's not my uncle, you know. BUT... I need to stop judging myself and just allow my self to heal and grieve the way my body wants. It's also hard sometimes cause when you are the partner you want to be strong for your partner and take over the little things for them. This way they have less to worry about and can enjoy themselves doing wtv is it. Sometimes that takes it's tole. Today, I feel incredibly blessed, I see some much beauty in my life everyday. I feel blessed to have his family in my life. I also think about Scentsy and how much JOY it brings me. That it's a great escape, I think we all need a passion that brings us JOY. How lucky am I that my job brings me so much JOY?! And during a time like this, I can take all the time I need to be there for Kris and his family. Do you have a passion that brings you joy? If I can teach Journey anything it’s too have the courage of being disliked. Life is too short to give a f*ck what people think about you. You are not serving anyone when you dim that light of yours to make others feel comfortable. If people are not going to like you, they are not going to like you. This actually has NOTHING to do with you. It’s an internal issue they are having within themselves. Most of the times people don’t like you because of jealousy or fear. I’ve always been out spoken and different. I’ve had people not like me because of it. I’ve had friendships for over 20 years who decided they no longer want me in their life. Does it hurt, yes! But why soak into the hurt? What’s the point in feeling the hurt? That won’t change anything, it will only make me feel worst. Writing about it, is actually bringing on the hurt feelings. But I instantly need to push them out and realize that everything happens for a reason. Have you tried everything to make your friendship work? Yes, then you did everything you could. You shouldn’t have to beg your friends to be friends with you. You shouldn’t have to explain yourself either. Friends are meant to love you unconditionally, just the way you are. Sometimes when we evolve we lose friends, because you are meant to go in a different direction. Sometimes these people in your life don’t serve this new life of yours. Just allow the process. Is it easy? No. Did I cry about it? YES, lots. But I won’t let it bother me anymore because I understand there is a bigger plan. A plan that I am part of and it’s all for our greater purpose. People are in your life for a reason, if they leave- LET THEM. And for those people you think about, the haters. You know the people you fear when you post something or go live to advertise your business. Why do you give these people so much power? If they are hating it’s simply because they are jealous that they don’t have the guts to do what you are doing. Also, in most cases… there isn’t really any haters, it’s something we made up in our head. We are so afraid of people judging us, no liking us, thinking we’re weird.
