A groan is heard as her figure seems to shrunk down even more, covers stolen and pulled up and over her head. She doesn’t want to look over and see what time it is; her internal clock says early, and that’s enough for her. “Shhh,” is all she mumbles, eyes still closed as she shifts around, into the closest figure, to get more comfortable. “Some of us are sleeping and the rest are being loud annoying assholes.”

At the sign of Lux being awake and letting out a complaint as soon as she opened her mouth, Malesh slightly lifts his head up from the pillow to frown at Wells. Discussing who has to get up and make breakfast isn’t supposed to be such a hassle because they've established guidelines, but following rules isn't quite his forte. This particular time around, he knows it's his turn but he has been trying to make Wells do it with the weak excuse that he could use five more minutes in bed. ❛❛ Yeah, shhh. ❜❜ Pressing Lux towards his body, Malesh sticks his tongue out at Wells before innocently snuggling her, acting as though nothing had happened. ❛❛ Fried eggs on toast and a coffee for me, babe. Charlotte mirrored Catalina’s pout, her bottom lip poking out slightly. “No pouting allowed. Catalina smiled widely at Charlotte’s comment, nose crunching and all. She couldn’t say she didn’t know how that felt, having a soft spot for the brunette herself as well. ❛❛ I’m never opposed to that, although if I remember correctly, you teased me for making it seem too real the last time and I said I wouldn’t do it again... Actually, now that I think about it, nothing I say when I’m tipsy has any logic whatsoever, so I’m on board, fuck drunk me. Which wasn’t exactly an invitation, but it could be. ❜❜

❛❛ Please, stop whining. I never said cooking was easy, the words I used were not too difficult, I believe. I know getting started can be hard because you don’t know what the fuck you should do first. In fact, now that we’re on it, I’m sure Satan was in charge of measurements at the beginning of times but no one has ever died trying. If you want cooking lessons, just say the word and I’m game... It’ll cost you a bit, but you’ll be able to be decent in the kitchen and then use that to woo other people and lure them into your bed. That sounds like a sweet fucking deal to me. ❜❜

His heart was beating faster, sweat dripping from his joints, knuckles burning. Wells didn’t accept the fact that he had limits, and the last five minutes of training were always the worst - through a doctor’s point of view. In his opinion, however, the more breathless he was the more he had to train; he couldn’t risk getting tired in front of his opponent. So what if he (sometimes) took a nap right under the punching bag out of exaustion?

This time Wells managed to exit the gym before feeling his legs wobble and fail him. He tripped right on the last step of the stairs, almost falling head first on the ground. Fortunetly, his arms slowed down the impact, and only his forehead hit the ground. Or, better, what he assumed was the ground, but was actually the tip of someone’s shoe.

Catalina had been begging Kramer to incorporate some boxing exercises to her routine for weeks now, and when it finally happened, she genuinely couldn’t contain her excitement. After fifteen minutes of warm up, she was more than ready to start throwing some punches, even if that wasn’t what they had planned.

After grabbing her water bottle and her towel, she began making her way towards the ring, only to be stopped by Wells falling to her feet. ❛❛ You know, I would go on a date with you if you asked nicely, dude... Kissing my feet is a little too forward. ❜❜ She chuckled, slightly bending her knees as she held her hand out to help him out. ❛❛ You okay ? Maybe you need to catch your breath before going home... I wouldn’t mind if you stayed and watched me for a while. I’m just starting and I need some tips. That is if you’re not too tired, of course. ❜❜ She nibbled on her lower lip, fully aware that he looked exhausted but perhaps if she insisted enough, she could guilt trip him into it. ❛❛ I understand if you are, it’s just that you’re the best here. In my opinion, at least... ❜❜

She could feel it now - a headache beginning to pulse at the back of her head. It was enough to make her stomach drop and her palms sweat, though Lux silently pushed any thoughts of panic away. Taking in a deep breath, she shook her head and idly rubbed at her eyes with the heels of her hands, though the pulsing sensation was steadily growing worse. The chattering in the background of the usually quiet coffee shop was only irritating her further as she mumbled something under her breath about stupid spring break allowing the high school students to overtake the place on the corner down the street from her apartment. Rather than stew in aggravation and allow her headache to transcend into something much worse (a headache didn’t mean a migraine, it could just be a headache, or so she was insistently telling herself), she decided it was time to leave. She wasn’t getting any homework done as it was, so packing up her laptop and her latte was probably in her best interests. She sighed heavily as she dropped the charger for the computer, crouching to collect it with a slight grimace as her head throbbed. As she returned to standing, she felt her hip make contact with something and was immediately greeted with the feeling of coffee splashing all over herself (and likely all over the person she’d bumped into). “Jesus fucking –” was her immediate response as she took an abrupt step back. She took in a breath, and allowed another “—fuck” to follow as she fully stepped aside.

Upon arriving to Victoria, Ben knew he was carrying some bad habits with him; one of them was having coffee rather early in the morning with an empty stomach — something he had been (slowly but surely) trying to change. He attempted to be big on breakfasts now, so that he could encourage his daughter to incorporate it, too. Violet helped him a lot in that sense, because whenever she spent the night at her grandmother’s place, he found himself running to the closest coffee shop and ordering an espresso before nine in the morning... Exactly the same way he was that day.

Waiting for his coffee wasn’t a hassle as it had been the week before, which he was grateful for. If he had to stand in line for more than five minutes, the person behind the counter would have to wave him goodbye from where they stood and Ben would quickly be on his way to another café. Luckily, that didn’t happen and he was walking out of the shop even before than he expected. Or he assumed he would be, before someone bumped into him, making his cup of coffee to burst the cap open and splash both him and apparently the girl in front of him with the hot liquid. As he released a flow of curse words he knew he shouldn’t have, Benjamin took a step backwards to get a better look at the girl (he knew it had been an accident but he was going to ask her to pay him a new espresso nonetheless), suddenly forgetting about the burning sensation he was feeling on his jeans once he realized who she was. ❛❛ Lux ? What— why didn’t you— God, are you okay ? ❜❜ He managed to ask, mentally scolding himself for not taking her into account sooner.

It is One of Those Nights, a branded feature as monotonous as the shitty sitcoms that play in the background whenever this happens. Sometimes she feels as big as the universe, vast and almighty sprawled on the hardwood of her modest apartment downtown. Sometimes she’s left crumbling, collapsing, caving in on herself, but every morning she makes sure to pick up the pieces and not leave a trace. Tonight she’s feeling vulnerable, wanting her emotional turmoil to have an audience in the half-packed park, which was continuously thinning out as time stretched on. She’s wrapped herself around her favored flask, her best friend in these trying times, sneaking a gulp when she thinks no one is looking. The sun is half hidden behind a building, beginning it’s descent and for the moon to take center stage. The day was ending but tonight has just begun.

“Today a kid fucking puked on me. You see, I clearly avoided joining an elementary school to avoid this problem. But this Junior came in, looked at me for a second before spewing her shitty school lunch all over me. Five bucks says she’s pregnant, though. What do you think?”

Malesh wasn’t a man of many words to say the least. Generally, when it was his turn to take Penny for a walk, he liked to do so focusing only on her, as if he somehow was able to keep her on a bubble that held them within and pushed everybody away... Of course stopping by to meet Vera at the park meant his routine (and though process) had to change slightly to adjust to her needs as well, something he wasn’t quite bothered by. And neither was Penny, he assumed.

Sitting right next to the blonde, with his knees close to his chest and his arms on top of them had been a rather comfortable position to bear the moment of silent, but when she spoke up, he couldn’t help but turn his head to Vera, shifting his entire body towards her direction. ❛❛ How old are juniors again ? ❜❜ He laughed, clearly out of it. ❛❛ I want you to tell me what happens in, what ?, two months time ? I could use those five bucks. I’m going to run out of toilet paper at some point... ❜❜

Char gave him a quick once over, knowing the last name sounded familiar, unsure of what exact significance the name held. “Keeping my mouth shut isn’t exactly something I’m good at. That’s why I tend to keep glasses of alcohol around me as much as possible. It keeps my mouth shut and makes me happy…some people say it even makes me nicer.” Trying her best to brush off his wink, she continued to look at the male, regardless if he was looking at her or not. She was trying her best to size him up to see if he was really someone of importance or if he just had a big ego. Either way, he said he would buy her drinks and that was enough for her to play nice for now. “My name’s Charlotte and I work in a bakery. It doesn’t give me exhibitions but I’m surrounded by sweets all day, so I guess it’s not terrible. ”
