Hey, so must of you know I keep pretty DL on my IRL life aside from ranting and raving about my daughter. Come August, my lease is up and I’m heading back to California for a new job. One that has been verified as a done deal by my Employer.
I had been saving up quite a bit for the big move at the end of August, but as usual there has been a wrench thrown into my plans. From my Ex. Now, this is where it sort of gets personal. I have full custody our daughter due to him leaving in the middle of the night. As such he is to pay child support. Money that before my current job cut my hours, was being used for my daughter’s needs and used for rent. Work money was saving money.
As of Monday, he is refusing to send child support because I have decided to move back near my family instead of moving back in with him. Bills and rent have drained my account. This 40 dollars has to last me another 2 and a half weeks before I get paid again from my current work. And it has to go toward rent, bills, and my daughter. Leaving me ZERO savings to actually get anything moved. And without my computer and other things I own. I cannot work the job that has been secured for me in California.
My close friends know I’m not one to ask for help, but this is a big deal because I’m being put in a situation of “It’s either move in with me or nothing at all” with him. I am in the process of seeing if his wages can be garnished because of this, but until then I am in pretty bad shape.
I have a lot of stuff to get done with this move and I can’t afford to lose it. For my sake or my daughter’s sake.
