I don’t have any big fancy speech or anything like that, but it’s just so surreal to me that there’s over two hundred of you that like me for whatever reason. (/lh) I’ve made some amazing friends over the years of having this account, and I’m glad so many of you have stuck by me for so long. 💗 Because we hit two-fucking-fifty, I wanted to do a little something fun to celebrate in the form of an art raffle!

I just started the part 3 manga, and I think a lot of my problems with jotaro are specific to the anime. I never really thought of the animation as “stiff,” but in the manga, jotaro has a lot of subtle expressions that give the impression that this is a scared kid trying his best to act tough. In the anime however, his expressions are so unmoving that he just comes across as a one-dimensional “tough guy” type. In the manga, he’s a dick to his mother bc that’s what teenagers do when they’re stressed. In the anime, he’s a dick to his mother bc he is a dick. In the anime, jotaro tries to kill avdol for no reason. In the manga, he begs avdol not to interfere because he’s afraid of killing him.
Also, in the anime, he calls star platinum an evil spirit, and as the audience you’re just like, oh this seems like a neutral spirit- he must think it’s evil for superstitious reasons. In the manga, star platinum can talk independently from jotaro’s thoughts, and threatens avdol with no input from him. Also the first close up of star platinum looks like this. Which is, to put it nicely, fucking terrifying. He looks like N’doul.
So it’s like, oh okay, I get it now. Jotaro is completely understandable.

i don’t totally like how his arm looks plus i couldn’t get him low enough because the height difference was making it a really awkward angle, but that’s what i get for copying the anime style again... it’s janky but close enough lmao full disclosure vanilla's bangs and face are heavily referenced bc they were giving me the most grief to copy, no thanks to all those damn little LINES. reference + transparent vers. under the cut!

How did you choose your (main) f/o's birthday
They have a canon birthday
I use date of their first appearance
I picked one using astrology/numerology/etc.
I chose a random holiday that fits them (e.g. national watermelon day)

a F2U code for toyhou.se that mimics the JoJo Wiki's pages for characters and stands as close as possible (without js limitations) — the code is HTML, so it doesn't require premium.
inside the codes are the hex codes for different parts for easy recoloring, plus instructions for removing the part symbols at the top and how to "fill in" the stand stats wheel.
I'm not the original code creator so I can't take full credit here, but myself and another toyhou.se user tweaked the existing code and made it so it's now mobile friendly. I'm not well versed in coding besides the very basics so I can't offer much support beyond turning off WYSIWYG and showing you how to input information if you're lost. no need to credit me, but please consider commenting or rbing if using 💗

Anika: Well.... what are my 3 favorite things about Jotaro? Hmm....
When we're alone, his touch conveys a lot more emotions than words ever can. Doesn't have to be in a lustful manner, but even if it is a cheek caress, a head pat, an embrace... while I love it when he speaks, it's the touch that speaks volumes.
His intelligence. Whether it comes to either defeating an enemy Stand User, nerding about boats and ships, or working on his doctoral thesis. I just love when he rambles. Makes me fall more in love with him.
The way he loves. It's not vocal, but it's like a gush of wind that can be felt so strongly. It's like an anchor that can keep someone grounded. It's like hope amidst darkness when he instills in the ability to help me love myself and others again. It's like... him.
🌟: Who’s the tease in the relationship?
Anika: Both of us are in our own ways. He's a tease with his touch and voice, and I'm a tease when it comes to dressing up in a certain way in front of him ;)

Anika: As a sound engineer, I'd say that his voice is a deep baritone, resonant and steady, with a timbre that carries an undercurrent of strength and resolve.
As his wife, I would say that his voice is a comforting rumble, a sound that, despite its gruff exterior, carries warmth and familiarity, a sound I have come to associate with safety and love.
