dean was eight when a couple of thugs from the most prominent crime family in kansas city busted into his family’s home on a mission to kill off what seemed like the weakest link in the salvatore family : dean’s father. john, filled with rage & fueled by the need to protect his own, blew the thugs’ brains out in front of his wife, kids, god, & all. in the morning, it all came out : his name wasn’t really john winchester — it was gino salvatore, & he was a member of one of the ruthless crime families in history.

after a week-long separation, dean’s mother moved the family to los santos with gino, & they haven’t left since.

the moment gino started teaching dean the ropes — how to shoot a gun, how to break someone’s nose, how to count cards, how to screw people over — he was hooked.

dean’s now a fairly prominent pawn in the salvatore family. he acts as a ruthless capo regime of a very well-trained decina & earned the nickname CAIN for his infamous brutality.
