How Malay!Yuu Fits In:
The Spirit of the Archipelago
Brings warmth and hospitality. You can count on them to always offer a warm smile, good conversation, and a plate of food to share.
Deeply connected to nature and their traditions. Whether it’s a jungle hike or a deep dive into local myths, they always have a new adventure or lesson to share.
Loves sharing their culture with others, especially when it comes to food. They’ll happily guide everyone through a tasting tour of Malaysia’s street food and local dishes.
Proud of their heritage. Malay!Yuu will happily talk about the history of Malaysia, from the influence of indigenous cultures to the blend of Malay, Chinese, and Indian traditions that make up the heart of the nation.
Easygoing but loves a good challenge. They’ll happily get involved in whatever chaotic antics the group has going on but will also try to keep things grounded when needed.
Filipino!Yuu, Indonesian!Yuu, and Malay!Yuu: A Southeast Asian Trio
Filipino!Yuu, Indonesian!Yuu, and Malay!Yuu instantly bond over shared food cultures and histories, comparing traditional dishes like sinigang, rendang, and nasi lemak while bonding over how much they all love a good feast.
They often sit together for long conversations about folklore, legends, and supernatural beings from their respective cultures. Expect long nights of stories about aswangs, pontianaks, and mythical beasts from the jungles.
They have an unspoken bond of friendship rooted in shared experiences as Southeast Asians—often teaming up to teach the rest of the group about their respective cultures, whether it’s in the form of dance, music, or food.
When the group gets into trouble, Malay!Yuu tends to play the wise mediator between Filipino!Yuu’s fiery energy and Indonesian!Yuu’s unpredictability, keeping things in check but still encouraging their chaotic side.
Filipino!Yuu & Malay!Yuu’s endless food debates—who makes the better sarap, or which dish reigns supreme, lead to lots of heated but fun arguments. Meanwhile, Indonesian!Yuu is probably somewhere planning a food festival to end all food festivals.
Final Verdict:
Malay!Yuu is the perfect addition to the Culture!Yuu group, bringing a mix of tradition, adventure, hospitality, and incredible food.
They’re always ready with a warm smile and a delicious dish to share.
Their love for their culture is evident in everything they do, from food to folklore.
Together with Filipino!Yuu and Indonesian!Yuu, they make the ultimate Southeast Asian trio—full of fun, food, and endless traditions.
Azul, you're not Sebastian Michaelis..
Done rendering Chibi TW
Hello, I really like your TWST forgotten au! I was wondering if reader had any habits/mannerisms as a result from the things happening to them? Specifically more negative ones (like being overly anxious and paranoid, flinching at movement and noise, always searching for exits etc.) Anything from small changes and deviations to their schedule to help them avoid people, to maybe unhealthy responses to cope with the bullying? I'm also kinda curious how would reader feel when the truth comes out and everyone begins changing how they act. I feel like while it would be somewhat relieving, it would also be majorly stressful if people who were so cruel to you suddenly acts kind? Idk to me it gives me lots of lovebombing and gaslighting vibes. Im just rambling, feel free to ignore/delete if you don't feel comfortable answering. Thanks!
I think reader would be very selective about who they call their real friends. Like yeah, they're nice to everyone, even people who were horrible to them. But when it comes to people they truly trust, they are very selective. They kinda have to be, because they know how easily trust can turn into something worse.
It probably takes reader a while to even open up to Neige, he has to learn a lot to things about reader on his own. This creates an interesting dynamic where Neige really wants reader to open up to him but reader is so afraid of forming real friendships that they keep Neige at arm length for a while.
This is really a double edged sword for Yuu, because on one hand they believe they know reader better than anyone because of this, but on the other hand if they saw reader opening up to someone else it would destroy them.
I'd say they're friends
