Hi anon! I used to read zosan fics a few years back but I don’t do that anymore. I’m extremely picky about characterization and normally don’t read aus so it’s hard to find fics that suit my taste haha. But I don’t read fics anymore mainly because I’ve grown less enthusiastic about op over the years. I wish I could still recommend some nice fics for you but forgive me - I’m too lazy to check my long-forgotten bookmark list😂

MHA vs SnK vs HxH

So i just saw a YouTube comment of someone saying that Shingeki no Kyojin and My Hero Academia were good but were overrated by their fans, and that for example, an anime *actually* deserving the praise it receives could be Hunter x Hunter and then he proceeded to kinda explain why in few words.

So now i'm wondering.

Did this guy EVER think that, maybe, he was doing with HxH exactly what he reproaches to the others? I mean all 3 are really good, and to be completely honest i don't like SnK, which doesn't prevent me from recognizing its quality. Why can't people let other people enjoy whatever they FUCKING WANT WITHOUT POPPING AND GOING LIKE "HEY THAT'S TRASH, I HAVE BETTER TASTES"?!

So, if you had to remove all the captains and lieutenants that are currently in place and replace them with other Shinigami that represent each squad's ideals, who would be the new captains and lieutenants? Feel free to take people from one squad and put them in another if you feel like they fit there. I imagine this will be hard to answer because I know you love Kensei and Shuhei so... Good luck! 😈

Okay so this is based on the squad symbols to make it easier on myself, and I’m only using Shinigami & Vizord. I will also follow the guidelines of the gotei that state that you must have bankai to be a captain, with the exception of Kenpachi ofc.

There were just some pairs that I couldn’t breakup. Like Toshiro & Rangiku, and Kensei & Mashiro. And Squad 11 I just could not change.

Your post about the number 4 in Bleach is a great one, especially when in Japan, 4 is an unlucky number. It has to do with it sounding similar to the word death for them..... While writing this, I realized that shinigami means deathgod, which is probably why there's so much emphasis on the number 4, because they're not alive, they're souls, therefore, they are death. This went differently than I was expecting.

I find it very interesting how Mayuri brought Hitsugaya and Matsumoto up to the palace king. I mean, he could’ve brought Hitsugaya and Kensei, or Rose. But no, he decided to get the 10th squad lieutenant up there. My guess is, he considered Hitsugaya the most valuable zombified captain as a fighting unit, and not letting him know what was his lieutenant up to would badly affect his performance.

Or maybe he ships them.

The number 4 in Bleach

Is it just me seing stuff where there isn't, or it really is associated to powerful beings/things?

For example:

-Zanka no Tachi: Bankai of the former captain commander, which is the strongest of them all, i think nobody can really argue on that, has 4 "modes": East, West, North, South.

-Katen Kyokotsu karamatsu shinjuu: The current captain commander's bankai. Utterly powerful too, and it has 4 dans.

-Daiguren Hyorinmaru: Symbolically the next Yamamoto IMO, Toshiro's bankai can freeze all 4 elements in the time of 4 seconds.

-Ulquiorra: Only espada with a "2nd resurrection", and he's number 4

-Ichigo: He has kind of 4 sort of beings inside himself: Human, Quincy, Hollow, Shinigama

Am i just imagining stuff or...? I mean im usually not keen about theories and stuff but i just thought about that xD
