Welp at least it’s official-

I honestly think it’s funny how the show just kinda threw this pairing at us, made us like it, only to then throw it away

I think Startools is cute, ngl, but it’s not exactly my favorite (said in Mechanicalshark and CandyWolf shipper). I started to fall out of love with it when it was confirmed that Nebula didn’t want Jack to call her mom but still wanted kids with Solar

Solar and Jack’s relationship was already rocky after the Overseer arc, so was Jack really expected to just watch his dad make a whole new family?

Ever since Nebula amnesia started, I kept saying “Tell her about Jack” “Let Jack talk to her” “Let her see Jack” because this ship really got its start when Jack was the one who really liked being around Nebula and started calling her “new mom”

Has Nebula even interacted with Jack the entire time she was living with them or had they just been awkwardly coexisting? We don’t even know how Jack initially reacted to her asking him to not call her mom besides “I know she didn’t like it”

“Oh that’s my dad’s girlfriend” “That’s my boyfriend’s son” Like hello?! Jack and Nebula had a really good relationship at the beginning long before she and Solar even CONSIDERED dating! What happened to that?! Solar and Nebula start dating and Jack is just sorta pushed to the side, because that’s what a lot of their episodes together looked like!

Anyway uh, I find it weird that I was so devastated over Solar’s death but now that he’s finally stopped reminding me of my own abusers with how he treated Jack…yeah I was kinda forcing myself to feel something about him crying

Ignore how ass these drawings are, they aren't my best work. I just couldn't not draw some Dahlia hurt/angst in light of the most recent episode. Was coincidentally thinking of drawing some Dahlia whump anyways, idk I just wanna see him a lil roughed up. 🫠

I have definitely noticed that Luneria, in particular, seemed to have an issue with Dahlia from the get-go; he's been targeted a lot in this arc. </3

I think I recall Kiran stating that he hated the presence of Dahlia's 'vile' magic, so maybe it festered from that.
