A few years ago, in the Mob Psycho 100 fandom, someone had a comic where one of the characters got kidnapped, and they got so used to having their hands tied up while sleeping, that after being freed, they would keep sleeping with their wrists next to each other

I had such a stupid interaction idea the other day: (also it's about japanese humour)

-Olruggio, right after getting his current outfit: "What are you staring at, Qifrey…?" -Qifrey: "Oh! I'm just looking at your golden balls!" -Olruggio: "My- MY WHAT?!" -Qifrey: "Your golden balls! You know? The ones on your belt?" -Olruggio: "…OH! THAT !" -Qifrey: "Yes! I think they look nice!" -Olruggio, holding onto Qifrey's shoulders: "Please, never call them that again. That would be better for the both of us." -Qifrey, clueless: "Okay…? If you say so, Olly…?"

I had nightmares last night (as usual), and at some point, I was going through a supermarket And there, I saw a whole corner, shelves, full of JnD merch! There were TPL Jak sitted plushies (9€ only?!), black customed PlayStation controllers with Jak 2 fighting Krimzom Guards on it, (in white and red lineart!), and there were even big cardboards with Jak on it to advertise that area!

I was thinking about the twin bottles spell, and how something warned Iguin that the coin was being moved from the ink

And, could you imagine: a very loud blaring alarm? X'D

So loud that it would make Iguin's hat jump up, cartoon-style! X'D

Watched the trailer for season 2!

And wow, that's pretty epic! 👏👏👏

Was thinking again about how Coco's mom just let her roam around a festival on her own at like 5 years old

And then I realized that Iguin could have just straight up adopted her right there and then X'D

Wait! Hold on!

I'm writing it in my head and:

Coco: "Is there magic at your home too? Can I come with you?" Iguin: "But don't you have parents?" Coco: "My mother is over there! Can she come as well? :D"

And then Iguin proceeds to tell Coco's mom that healing magic would have saved her husband...

Saw fanarts of Brushbuddy being VERY angry about taking baths, not liking water like Qifrey, so it gave me a cracked headcanon idea X'D Next step after turning into a Silvertree is turning into a Brushbuddy! X'D

About the Silvertrees (and chapter 88)

So, I know that most people LOVE their angst

And that THIS give a LOT of angst possibilities

BUT

Since the whole idea of the Silvertree is that it grows when its host is feeling "peaceful" Well, technically, being in love shouldn't make it grow then. Right? Cause when you're in love, you're full of emotions and VERY FAR from being peaceful (in most cases, of course, not all)

WATCHED EPISODE 13!!!

Most people theorizing to what parts the episode was going to cover were right! XD (Not gonna say "This is so well animated!" cause it is, that's not a needed comment all the time! X'D)

So! First, I expected a OP + ED-less episode, to fit more stuff in it: well turns out I was very wrong! (Also don't know it it's worth mentionning that the title of the episode as the "For" of Forbidden highlighted 🤔)

Low res Qifrey: so cute!

Okay ,so, they kept the silly scene of Coco being shocked about her shoes being too powerful for Agott. Good. But, I don't know if it's just the translation, but there Qifrey just says that Agott was fast, not that she CRASHED INTO HIM, so Coco had no readon to act so shocked there. (Some of the facial expression got changed too, which is too bad, cause they were very silly!)

Nice detail of Alaira's hat to turn around like some kind of spinny firework!

Saw someone on Twitter before the episode point out that THIS scene and interaction were important, and should be kept:

BECAUSE you can see that Qifrey is SHOCKED and almost excited to have a clue on Brimhats, and it's COCO who makes him focus again! (So that person is gonna be PISSED I think X'D) AND, since that line of his doesn't appear, then the "Then it's really Brimmed Caps who are behind this!" (He doesn't actually say the "Then it's really" but in japanese he sais "Yapari!" so...👉👈) The ROCK HITTING HIM was NOT soften in any way in the anime! They really went all out with the blood there! (And an added Brushbuddy appearance! Yay!)

The animators do LOVE their running animations, cause they made the Agott and others running as long as they could there! X'D ONCE AGAIN, an IMPORTANT line got deleted, cause Euini is supposed to say "I'm done saying things are impossibl! I promised myself that!", so that's too bad.

I can't take Sasaran's seriously with that (japanese) voice btw X'D (The fact the Myrphoons reacted to Euini wasn't really clear in the anime though)

They kept Richeh pulling her tongue, nice! :D I...don't know why the animators chose that weird angle to both show and not-show Richeh's reaction to Euini giving her his spells??? That already happened in another episode, so... What are they trying to do there?

The animators went and made Agott being held by Sasaran more messed up than in the manga Once again: why? More angst again? Saying again that the facial expressions are better in the manga, but I'm glad they didn't make Wolf-Euini looked as scared in the anime! 👏 Same for the Myrphoons actually! The looked alsmot fine there! 👍

And same thing with the Brushbuddy! Even added a silly with him! Yay!

Also: most of the budget of this episode must have gone in the hand animation of that next part, because, WOW! 😂

Maybe I'm looking to much into this, and this is also in the manga, but the way both the girls' hats are together, while Qifrey's is away, BUT, with his BLACK RIBBON pointing towards them could be nicely meaningful I think!

A nice touch that they added Qifrey's gasping, to show that he was scared of Coco touching his face, But it also made the following still pic of his face, with just the wind sound effect, look a little weird to me 🤔

The Romonons' appearance was BLURRY!!! It might have just been to not reveal them right away, but it could have also been to point out Qifrey's vision, like in another episode! 👆

I expected them to be less "solid" too 🤔 SO I was surprised by how noisy they were

The pic of Qifrey huffing (for the fanservice) was NOT animated! The animators really decided to give ONE to the fans and that's it, huh? 🤣

The wound of Qifrey was shown in a very detailed way there (budget for blood?), and the animators REALLY decided to make Qifrey struggle in pain as muc has they could, huh???

And they TOOK AWAY Qifrey's reassuring SMILE when he's saying 'I'm your master aftter all!", by having it hidden by their hands! (Hand animation which had too much focus by the way. Was too long. It made it look weird there.) COME! ON! There are limits to how much more serious you want the anime to be compared to the manga!

Explaining that the cloak would keep the girls hidden BEFORE he tells them to stay close to him is confusing But what's confusing me even more is the way they animated QIfrey's pose after that??? What was that??? I feel like it took away all of the badass side of that scene??? Sure, it makes for a nice transtition to the next season! But it looks weird, and makes him look physically different too?????????

So...well...yeah. Very confused about this episode there. 🤔

As for the anime itself: To me it feels more like a VERY NICE BONUS to the manga readers, and a nice way to get anime-onlys to get interested in the manga! 👏 Which is nice! :D

When you think about it, the very first contraption Coco sees, with the water, is SO useful!

Yes, it can make water "appear" from anywhere already

But also

Nornoa could take all the water away from the ink with it in one move!

It would be SO useful to filter dirty water, mud, and stuff!

Watched episode 12!

Gonna try to summarize my thoughts, instead ogf going "IT'S PRETTY" about every scene! We all know it's so pretty and well animated anyway! X'D First, the Forbidden Magic lore! Very nicely illustrated Romonon story, but it was going a little fast to follow (guess the animators didn't have to much time to spare for it) We also didn't get 2/3 of the stories told at that part of the manga (Dadah Mountains and Thristas Forest) probably because of the same reason. Which is too bad for anime-onlys, cause they're missing on some important lore, and maybe even on VERY important clues for later-on stuff!

Also, Qifrey's very kind voice (in Japanese), makes the telling of Romonon's sad story feel a little weird X'D Nice that they kept the overcooked joke! (Yay! A silly! 🙌) The flashbacks of Richeh really makes us angry at her precedent teacher (as we SHOULD!), and also points out of she was at the Great Hall. I didn't even think about that before!) Richeh's ribbons are nice, but I was really expecting them to be more shiny and colourful. So it's really surpising to see them just be transparent, and, that's it. They skipped a Myrphon going on his own, which is technically no important. Sure, but also? WHERE and HOW did the other Myrphons went throug the whole mazes by themselves??? X'D Also, they're making Sasaran's cloak look very badass! XD

Agott looks more expressive in the manga, but the animators did make Richeh actually react to Agott almost falling, so that's nice! Also: STRONG ARMS Agott! To just be able to climb back like that?! Qifrey must teach his girls his muscles routine! 😂 Agott's comment about knowing someone who considers failing her spells ahead (Coco) is nice, but, since we didn't get Agott's going "She thinks she's gonna fail?!" mond comment with the Dragon in the anime, well...It is less obvious for anime-onlys. Euini's crying was very sad and well animated, but again looked more expressive in the manga (actually teared up when reread the scene the other day! X'D Nice that they added an actual scene of Euini training and drawing though! 👏 Low-res supportive Richeh was so funny and cute tough! The Myrphon looking at her do it too! X'D AND the animators casually flexed how good they are at drawing clothes by adding even more movement to Euini's cloak when he's looking for the seal X'D Euini is so cute with his shadow-cloak, and it got animated so well by the way! 👏 The Angricheh scene as well! They kept it! Yay! 🙌

About Sasaran's scene: they did animate him trying to attack the kids, which was not clear in the manga, but the wind shield whoch protected them was not said to be Alaira's work. So... If they don't say it in the next episode, that would just look confusing, and as if Alaira wasn't able to do anything other than throwing her hat there, which is kinda sad for this character. (Also, her design in the anime still looks weird to me? Might just be her lipstick standing out?) Still, a very nice episode to see! :D
