After being hurt from Shadow, he can barely stand and walk before collapsing

While in the English dub shadow only touched him once, which didn't make sense as to why Chris was in such a state just from that one attack. That's because the entire scene where he beats up Chris was removed from the dub. Likely due to violence towards children. After all, the original version of this scene is actually far more disturbing, as Chris collapsed due to the trauma from being thrown to the wall by shadows attack, you don't see the part where Chris struggles to get back up as seconds of that were removed in the dub.

The episode in question with Chris being injured from Shadow is Showdown In Space, Ep 38, season 2

So yeah. This is what you don't see in the dub, which explains why Chris was so badly injured. His head slamming into the wall with force.

Chris definitely has a fragile body, which is understandable since he's a child. So he's not really able to defend himself, causing Sonic and other characters to save him on various occasions. He's also extremely sensitive emotionally, as he's seen crying a lot. He's a kindhearted boy with a sensitive heart, though while it may be easy to break, it can harden with determination for justice and to set things right.

I'll put this here again

There's one episode where he catches a cold. There isn't much to it since Chris has practically recovered. Throughout the episode his parents are over worried and protective of him despite him feeling fine.

He threw it at the force of a damn torpedo, enough to cause a concussion or outright kill someone with enough blunt force trauma to the skull. It knocks Chris out cold, but he miraculously recovers quickly somehow without a head injury.
