This is, I think, the one time Fenris tries to reach out to Anders, and it fucks with me so badly because it’s so obvious that Fenris is relating to Anders’ grief and guilt because Fenris has also been there. 

Fenris has killed people he didn’t wish to kill because his actions were not under his own control. He understands this feeling.

And I wish so badly that the two of them could learn to communicate better and to understand where the other is coming from, because they have so much in common.

The sad thing is, Anders is on a downward spiral, while Fenris is on a slow road to recovery. I think this is the point of intersection on that graph.

Maybe I'm just autistic but I honestly did not mind at all that the same handful of environments were recycled over the course of DA2. yes i know it was a result of rushed development but it's pretty nice to generally know what I'm expecting to walk into before I enter.

I also enjoy the fun and flashy combat that is essentially just patterned button mashing. The companion romances and stories are compelling and interesting, I love the friend/rival system, and the game is engaging and fun without feeling intimidating and complicated like DAI and DAV were to me. Everything is cramped together in three little maps, and it's never a chore to navigate around. I love DA2 so much akaldljskj
