The immense radiance of Buddha’s reality-body Can appear in the world through expedient means, According to the inclinations of all beings’ minds, Raining the teachings to suit their faculties.
The impartial, signless body of true suchness, The pure reality-body of untainted light; With knowledge and calm, with innumerable bodies, He preaches the truth, adapting to all.
The powers of the King of Truth are all pure, His knowledge and wisdom like space, unbounded; He reveals all without any concealment, Causing all beings to be enlightened.

Let’s talk about China
First I have to preface that somewhere in the early 20th century growth in the US switched from just building everywhere to building higher density near major urban centers. Add in that the US government owns most of the land west of the Rockies:
In a way, we are similar to China’s geography, major difference being they have 3.5 times as many people as we do with resulting extreme densities in the east (like us) and similar sparse empty areas out west.
So? Where am I going with this? China has had absolutely explosive infrastructure development over the past 25-30 years. Absolutely mind blowing. First we have the expressway system built largely as tollways:
That video has a good summation of the highways completed. On top of that, the amount of high speed trains is incredible, with an entire nationwide high speed rail network.
Don’t forget to add in air travel:
All this growth is creating megacities and megaregions of ultra-connected cities.
compare to the US:
On top of all these, each of those Chinese mega regions has major subway and transit systems. Here’s a favorite gif of mine of subway system growth:
Just try and wrap your head around the absolutely MASSIVE scale of construction being completed there.
Now think back of the big cities in the US, NYC, San Francisco, DC, Chicago, with subway systems and how long it took to build them and how terribly (some are) maintained they are now. Think about how Seattle added a light rail line and it took 20 years from proposal to completion for ONE line. 20. Years.
Just reflect on how dysfunctional, lazy, selfish, and messy America has become for it to take 20 years to complete a single light rail line. It’s not even underground!!!
Add on top of this China is building global infrastructure, reviving the Silk Road, establishing renewed trade routes throughout Asia and outward into Africa and Europe.
China’s authoritarianism has set itself up for CENTURIES of economic domination and y’all are too busy complaining about transgender issues. Our democracy is dead; a rotting carcass of paid interest groups faking opposing narratives to ensure nothing changes and nothing gets done, while everyone is always outraged over everything and nothing, where everything we’ve built rots away.
Have some perspective.
Roads, subways, bridges, high-speed rail roads - all built by state owned companies, using loans borrowed from state owned banks, and steel and cement sold by state owned factories.
