I have a separate instagram account for interacting with people that play the game I work on. After posting the portrait of my coworker’s avatar, I got a lot of commission requests to do other players’ avatars. Not sure about doing commissions for in-game currency…but i agreed to do an art trade with one of them. Also used this an excuse to try out those Wangjie Li brushes and some of Loish’s workflow. :) #art

Just barely finished this in time for November 1st - Self Portrait Day! Man, this was challenging, I haven’t painted a portrait in ages, much less a self portrait. But I tried out some things I don’t usually do, like color dodge! (A little bit of Ross Tran inspiration. :))
