With all the crappy weather we've been having, I'm honestly amazed at how many people in the UK don't have snow spikes these days. They've truly saved me from falling on my ass all week. The only thing they slightly fail at is black ice but I suspect that's because it's such a thin layer.

I have just caught myself in the mirror with my black ski snood, thermals, hood up and gloves on and realised I look like I'm off to commit robbery...oops.

Just in time for fall season, two of our major suppliers (and many other hospitals in the UK) are having issues with plates, screws, cutting guides and implants. Stay safe out there, wrap up warm and when it's icy, snow clips are really worth their weight in gold! (PS ask my face after I fell into a lampost ((I'm fine)).

I have survived the Convergence of the Cousins, something we do periodically to catch up as there are 26 of us (not all come, all the time lol). This time for an 18th bday celebration and I'm on the last tram home now. Decided to take a break from drinking too as I think it's affecting my mood more than I'd like, and to navigate loud places sober is a pretty big thing for me as I often only last an hr or so before I get overstimulated, and I made it 4 this time. Home and bed soon.

I've graduated PT lol. We've got as far as we can, I just gotta gentley keep my exercises up and hopefully I'll stay on an even keel. I was proper happy to tell him I finally feel confident to run up works concrete steps again! And I'm gonna start running again.

Feeling the love today. Got over a 150 pounds for my birthday from work. And it was only about 20 people so it was really appreciated. Got a bottle of booze too and it's so lovely getting to read all the nice message's.
