Scotch is amber colored and schnapps is almost always clear. In no way do they combine to make this koolaid looking nonsense
Also … no one in their right mind would suggest adding a dash of cinnamon to a drink that was so cold it had DRY ICE in it.
Unless the schnapps is butterscotch flavored, please keep it far away from scotch, mmmkay? Maaaaybe something with a peach schnapps but there better be something else going on other than dangerous ice that could give me frostbite if served wrong.
I’m starting to understand why Roni’s bar was on the verge of being closed down in 7x01.
I am available for alcohol related inquiries in the future. ABC, feel free to put my vast knowledge on retainer.
Once Upon a Time Bosses Tease Tilly Backstory, 'Epic' LGBT Love Story
As hinted over the summer, Season 7 of ABC’s Once Upon a Time is laying the foundation for a new LGBT romance — some 18 months after Ruby realized and acted on her feelings for Dorothy.
As mentioned on passing in the Oct. 27 episode, Tilly aka the Hyperion Heights persona of Alice of Wonderland (and other places!) is gay, having once had a girlfriend who toiled for Victoria Belfrey. That personal detail, however, would wind up paling in comparison to the gradual reveal that Tilly when off her “meds” can see through the current mysterious curse, which she makes clear by taunting police detective Weaver with his real name — Rumplestiltskin.
By episode’s end, Tilly (played by the super-engaging Rose Reynolds) would be back on her meds and “asleep,” while Rumple is now “awake.” But how and why did Tilly/Alice achieve clarity in the first place?
“We’re going to get a little more into that in the winter finale (Episode 10),” Once co-creator Eddy Kitsis tells TVLine. “And we’re going to get into much more detail about Tilly in the second half of the season — including her flashbacks, a big arc for her and an epic love story we’re excited about.”
And whereas the aforementioned #RubySlippers epiphany and liplock seemed to some like mere fulfillment of a promise, Tilly’s love story will have greater stakes.
“It’s hard to explain without telling you too much…,” co-creator Adam Horowitz hedges, “but I’ll say this: the romance becomes really entwined in the larger story we’re telling for the season.
“It’s important on both a character level, for someone who’s in love and dealing with love,” he adds, “and on a larger plot level for the show.”
OMG, you're right! I completely forgot that TLK was an option! Probably coz I haven't thought of Rumbelle as true love since S4 and every attempt they ever made failed, so they stopped trying at all. I'm kinda glad they didn't do that though, coz it means Rumbelle, even after everything, still doesn't believe they are true love anymore, and I can stomach that way better than all this Rumple is a hero with a pure heart nonsense. Like, this is so much more like them, and now he has a cont
cont motivation, they explained Belle away without breaking them up and Rumple will struggle with this the whole season, only to finally do the right thing in the end. It’s more of the same old, but if it means that Rumple’s HE is death after all, like I wanted it to be for seasons now, then I’ll take it! I mean, I too mostly rolled my eyes at this episode, and while I had some feelings after all, they were kinda… muted? Like an echo, almost? From the part of me that still remembers the cont
cont good times and used to ship it, drowned out by the bigger, bitter part that can’t forget all that happened since the proposal with the fake dagger. I was sad about Belle, though. And I feel bad for Gideon. Poor kid! I kinda wish he’d show up in HH so he at least gets to see his dad one last time before he dies. And I bet him and Henry would hit it off! I hope he goes back to Storybrooke to become the resident scholar/ librarian, find friends, fall in love and live an actual happy live!
I’m kind of glad they didn’t try TLK, because if Rumbelle got one and CS didn’t, I’d pitch a fit. (Not that CS needed it; they got at least 3 other TL confirmations, but it’s one milestone I totally wish we would have gotten.)
I feel the same way about the episode as you do. I don’t like that Belle and Rumple spent years totally isolated from everyone but their son. I don’t like that Belle had to leave all of her friends and family back in SB. It’s sad to me that, while decades passed for Belle in the Edge of Realms, it was only the blink of an eye for everyone else, so Belle’s friends and family never got to see her grow old or say goodbye to her. It’s sad that Belle didn’t get to watch Gideon get married and have kids and everything else he might do as an adult, and it’s sad that Gideon lost his mother so young. I get what they were trying to do, playing up the inevitable conflict of time when one spouse is immortal and the other isn’t, but it just seemed…sad to me.
And yeah. I don’t know if I’d ever go so far as to say I shipped Rumbelle (as in I was invested in their relationship), but I thought they were kind of cute in seasons 1-3, but after the fake dagger proposal, I was done with them–and it only got worse for the next 3 seasons. The writers are, of course, perfectly free to write whatever relationship they want for Belle and Rumple, but for me things went way too far off the rails for me to ever care about seeing it play out again. I’m happy for Rumbellers who enjoyed the episode, but personally I’m glad that’ll be the last RB episode we get.
