Killian don’t-do-the-thing Jones is my favorite. I think sometimes he just feels like a charming family babysitter trying to keep everyone alive when they are absolutely determined to get themselves killed.

Emma: *get’s stuck in the ice wall*

Killian:  Do not become the bloody dark one.  

Emma: *becomes the bloody dark one*

Emma: *turns him into a bloody dark one*

Killian: *sigh* *maniacal laughter*

Killian: Take a nap,  you’re going insane.

David:  WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO YOU?

Rewatching old episodes of supernatural is a trip.

Season 2 dean on his “dead things should stay dead” pedestal, guilt tripping everyone making deals and literally calling them selfish for leaving the other person behind….

Less than half a season from “it’s a fire sale and everything most go”

Kinda forgot that when dean made that deal he made it already with a full personal understanding of what an emotional train wreck you leave behind.

What are you all doing to get stung by bees?? They literally let you pick them up and pet them if you're calm. I've had them land on me loads and just hang out for a while but I've never been stung?? They're just chill lil dudes.

Once was from when I stuck a flower in my face as a little kid without knowing there was a bee in it, another was from trying to rescue one from a pool by fishing it out barehanded.

I've gotten stung just existing on a playground that had bees nearby. I did not initiate interaction with the bee.

Yup, they hate me. I think there’s some kind of residual hit list on me from when I stepped on a yellow jacket nest as a kid and got stung like 27 times at once (admittedly yellow jackets are not bees and are absolute aholes…)

But since then I have had several bees land on me and sting me for no apparent reason.

I still like them and plant pollinator gardens for them but our affection is sadly one sided 😂🐝🥰

Ah yes, one of my favorite tropes. Mystery spot of course but also … trapping Liam in a leviathan shoals time loop in ‘hell or high water’, death is always the easy way out in an underworld arc.

Now that I’m rereading Dresden files I’m realizing I haven’t done this to that particular set of dysfunctional brothers…. But then… canon did it for me there too 😂😆

Waking up at 4am after having fallen asleep listening to a Dresden files audiobook makes for some weird dreams…

In related news it has been long enough since I’ve read these books that i know the characters really well but the situations feel only vaguely familiar. Rereading favorites after a few years is fun, it’s amazing how much you forget 😂

This reread is very poor planning … I really should not get reobsessed until there’s a publishing date for the next one 😬

For those saying yes, they get annoyed/upset by it, I have wonderful news. Trying to sleep, just laying there with your eyes closed and not doing other things, gives you almost as much benefit as actually sleeping. So if you can't sleep but feel like you need to sleep, you don't have to stress about not being able to.

Especially during that fun post partum period where you are desperately sleep deprived but your adrenal system is on red alert because WHAT IF THE BABY WAKES UP… IM SO TIRED BETTER JUST STAY AWAKE JUST IN CASE.

Testing someone's oxygen saturation with a pulse oximeter won't be accurate after substantial blood loss, because even if the gauge reads 100%, there are too few red blood cells to adequately oxygenate tissues.

Which in related news is why I’ve basically never been able to watch medical dramas.

But on the plus side…. Your options really do expand dramatically with even the most basic of accurate medical know how…

Is there a word in fandom for looking back at some angst/ whump you wrote like 6 years ago and joining your own reviewers in expressions of both delight and horror because you have lost all memory of having done the thing…
